Cryptopia hacked and there goes some of my airdropped BSD  Cry

It seems I've lost all my airdropped BSD on Cryptopia too  Sad

I've just sent a PM to the dev for changing my airdrop address, hoping that I will get some BSD in my own wallet starting the next airdrop week

I am using Cryptopia too as my Airdrop Stash, Almost 1410 BSD Gone the Drain if the Crytopia never recover from this mess. I will contact the airdrop admin on their official forum to replace my BSD Airdrop Address.

Cryptopia Exchange hacked yet again. Cryptopia has undergone yet another substantial loss of funds from the same hackers, just 15 days later.

This can't be a coincidence. They might be exit-scamming. Hacked once is ok (I guess) but hacked twice in 15 days? Something tells me this is all a well planned scam. Maybe its the "proof of keys" doing its doing and killing insolvent exchanges.

I read somewhere, that Cryptopia was no more control over compromised addresses. "Hackers" now an easy to transfer all new funds from these addresses.
Even if NZ police says: "Cryptopia management and staff have been co-operating with Police and providing considerable assistance in the investigation." I'm not sure it's not organized inside.

Sorry if I insist, but can you please tell me if you have any answer to my question in the post above your, or can help me anyhow?
As far as I remember bitsend android app was officially supported, right?

I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but I think the quickest way to get an answer to your question is to check the BitSend telegram channel. There questions about BitSend are answered quite quickly.  Smiley

Seems like my bitsend app is not supported or working anymore, I was out of games for some time for reasons.

I did backup my wallet, can I extract the private keys from the backup or use it in some other ways?

This is the main reason why we should not use directly exchanges' wallet for bounties.
It is risky as the Cryptopia incident shown

BSD is one of the inituial coins added!

---------------------------

Today, I am proud to announce the launch of http://gostake.com. Gostake is being launched by a project I am deeply, and passionately, involved with, and is the culmination of the vision of three long-term crypto enthusiasts (myself included).

The vision was to create a tool that could address the gap many crypto investors and enthusiast alike face when trying to analyse profitability, income and general coin earning mechanics for coins that generate rewards (Masternodes, Supernodes, POS, etc)

Gostake uses historic data to analyse and create projections (based on parameters) to predict future performance. It delivers this information in a summarised, advanced customisable view that incorporates a “What IF” calculator to create projections based on the pertinent variables. These projections can then be shared via a link (retaining the base parameters so they can continuously be tweaked)

I would welcome any feedback to improve our product, and/or to incorporate more functionality that you would find useful! Please use the “Contact Us” webform on the website.

why in heck you guys use cryptopia exchanger as destination for your airdrop, and not your own wallet?

exchanger always susceptible to hacks, everyone know

I guess if you just want to sell them, you save with that tx fee so much Grin. But yeah seriously, "not your keys not your coins" applies in this.

There is one of newest article about the hack on Cryptopia.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/nz-exchange-cryptopia-reports-hack-with-significant-losses
Quote
In a spate of accusatory remarks on the apparent coincidence, other commentators volunteered allegations that the security breach could be an exit scam, and allegedly pre-planned. None of these claims have been corroborated to press time.
Inside the article, there is a drama on pre-planned exit scam of Cryptopia, but I don't think Cryptopia will turn into a scam exchange.
However, it is just my feeling, my belief in them, and need time to be verified.
Let's see what will happen with Cryptopia next several days or even weeks.

With prices down 12 months, if you believe in the project and the Bitsend team you will not have problems putting up a knot, because today is much cheaper, cheaper and more profitable than 12 months ago Wink

Although yes, 1000 coins is about 55 dollars.
And is there an instruction for starting a node for Windows 10 with a static ip?

I understand correctly, the POS function in this coin will not be?
If there's masternodes ecosystem, why do we need PoS?

For example, not everyone can buy a master node.
And getting a percentage from a certain amount of coins is better.

Correct, all right and beautiful what you say but then why do not you go in the chat of Dash and ask to lower the limit of coin per masternode: 1000 are too many and not all have 20Btc to put on a node and have free coins; or could you ask G. Maxwell to change the Bitcoin pow in the most profitable Pos?  Grin
