I hold some BSD on Livecoin. As I understood, this exchange had been hacked. Am I wrong? Maybe someone else hold own BSD on Livecoin too... Thanks for any information.

Livecoin either was hacked or has exit-scammed. I believe the latter is true.

I had some coins there too, however there is practically no chance they will return anything. They demand some crazy and humiliating KYC-like procedure to return your funds, but even if you agree to go through that procedure, there is absolutely no guarantee they will return your coins. They are not a registered business, they are not falling under any jurisdiction, so there is nothing you can do to force them pay. In fact, they even have no right to demand any kind of KYC from you, as they themselves are anonymous 'nobody'. You can just pass the procedure and hope they will return your coins at their free will. However there is risk they will just sell your self-identification material to others scammers on dark market. So... you decide whether your coins are worth the risk....

Does someone have a Livecoin wallet address? We will track the activities of these wallets, maybe in the future they will move to major exchanges for trading.

Livecoin is asking to provide incredible KYC verification to users , while they are completely anonimous and unregulated: my guess is they are going to sell all this data they are trying to collect from users who already have been scammed and lost their funds.

To support my theory that they are trying to collect personal data to sell it just check last pages of their official thread where an army of brand new accounts are writing all the same/similar one liner post like "I have followed the instructions and received 50% of my funds from Livecoin. Thank you."

It is an obvious further scam attempts , cannot find any other reason they are doing that.

Don't fall for this please.

Yes, you are totaly right I think. Definetly, BSD price so low, and I don't see any reason to pass verification. As for me, I'm not going to pass KYC there in order to get my BSD. Especialy, if scamers organize these things.

I contacted them asking if they can return at least the low-value obscure coins without that fake "KYC" procedure, but they refused, telling me they would return anything only to the customers who agree to go through their procedure. I personally think you might get those coins if you give them your docs (because those coins are low value), but there will demand you to do a lot of PR for them in exchange (post in various forums/media, then send them a screenshot). This is what they are doing now, reportedly.

TLDR: you might get those coins, if you do a lot of work and risk your information. I personally don't think its worth to try to get those coins.

ANN Update 0.17.9.1

PROPOSED VALUES

In the past, there was often a desire to reduce the amount of BSD coins. For this reaons there are following changes planned in next update:

1. Reward per Block:
   -> now         - 25
   -> 950,000     - 12.5
   -> 1,000,000   - 6.25
   -> 1,050,000   - 3.125
   -> 1,100,000   - 1.5625
   ... the new amount of generated coins per year is 324,000 BSD (This corresponds to a new inflation of ~1%; In 10 years, there will be around 34 million BSD)

2. Masternode Reward:
   -> will be changed from 80% to 50% on block 1,000,000

3. Technical Changes:
   -> New diff Algo which will be adopted from BitCore with slightly different values.

Otherwise we have a few ways we could go.
1. we do nothing and i will try to do updates.
2. we swap Bitsend to Bitcore with a fixed rate. (Of course, Bitcore is not in a particularly good position either. )
3. we find a marketing team that consists especially of masternode owners. (That is the best solution)

I've been holding this coin since 2014, and I do believe there's still space for MN coins. Possibly, in the next months we may see a growing interest in the alts, specially in those that are privacy focused and with some kind of decentralized governance model.

I understand marketing is a big task, so I basically agree with you about option 3.

Last thing, beside the price may be suffering (like all other small cap alts) both BSD and BTX have listing on some decent exchanges, and this is a great value.

Nice to see you here!

Do you know anyone who would like to implement option 3?

Damn im back and can see my favorite coin is dead :/
Where is Christian ?

We are still here...  Smiley

So, what are you say about the idea to merge 4 coins into two only?
Much less job for you, potential investment in marketing can be directed to one or two coins, it is logical to gain on quality. I think it's much better to have one good project rather than four low interested, half-abandoned.

is there any suggestion about what to do next? The Bull run is happening, maybe we should take advantage of that.
