Hi all,

Have put some DOT votes on https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting
I hope we get onto this exchange.

Cheers,

Mike

It looks like we're in a close tie for second.  Everyone keep voting!!!

Where did that BolivarCoin come out from???

Questions:  Is once-a-month voting too frequent or not frequent enough?  Should Bitcoin-sCrypt coordinate with Bitcoin-core re voting?

I thought voting every two weeks was too often.  Once a month might be ok but we should not vote just to vote.  We should have things worth voting for.

Besides the first set of votes, voting every other week would be too much.

I'm glad you think so and I hope the community agrees.

Also, the voting block deadline will be announced within the next 24 hours, along with an infographic with instructions for first-time voters.

How about doing a pre-voting for a few names as a poll using this thread and take the finalists to the actual block-chain based vote?

BTW- I have 200 BTCs buried on Minpal for 18 months now (Blast from the past Smiley)

Forgot to answer second question.  Yes we should coordinate with Bitcoin core because it could give Bitcoin Scrypt more publicity.

It could.

That's a good idea.  We will look into a pre-poll.

Questions:  After the first vote, should we require +n confirmations in order for votes to count?  If so, how many +n confirmations should be required to address the problems mentioned?

This is tricky.  Need to think on this one.

Questions:  Any other suggestions on a process or methodology to allow users to submit questions for the community to vote on (instead of giving developers sole discretion on what questions are presented to the community)?

Trick question?  Definitely allow us to suggest questions to be voted on.  I like the idea of listing them here.

I like that idea.  Maybe after the name meta-vote in case the vote fails and becomes a moot point.

hello smokeasy, how to be:
Bitcoin Scrypt (BTCS) or correct name be Bitcoin sCrypt (BTCS)?

on site http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-scrypt/ full coin name is Bitcoin Scrypt...

It is the same?

It is mostly referred to as Bitcoin sCrypt but it is not required and some refer to it as Bitcoin Scrypt.
