Nevermind. got it! thanks

Step 3: If using windows, replace the first word "java" in each of the .bat files with "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java" and "save as" each of them as .bat files again.

Example for the run_generate .bat file:
Original; java -Xmx4000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate %*

modified: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate %*

Step 3a: Many of the values in the original .bat files were causing issues for my computer, so I changed the -Xmx4000m (or whatever your # was) to a lower value like 1000 or 500 (ie. -Xmx1000m) and it began working. This will be entirely system dependent, and is like tweaking a normal miner's settings to find what works best.

For step 3. I don't see a java folder. Did he meant the java application? How do i "save as". I can't see an option there. I tried renaming java.bat but it is still recognized as "java.bat.exe"

You save as in the run_generate.bat I think

I get it now. But it's still not working after changing every bat file. It shows this error : "missing args"

My run_generate file contents are : C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate %*

Question.

If i set to plot a single 500 gb file but i have to switch off my computer and stop plotting @ 250 gb. What's the best way to stop plotting before it complete 500 gb ? Am i able to resume plotting ? Is there such thing as corrupted plot if i close the plotting suddenly ?

You can still use the partial plot. It will cause an error "error reading file", but it will work.

There is no resume, just start another one with a higher starting nonce.

So i can close the plot bat anytime and suddenly without any problem ? I can still mine with whatever is left on the plotted file ?

You can. Just make sure your plots don't overlap.

Thank you. That make sense.

You need to restart ploting from the beginning

Could anyone help me please with 1 burst to start pool mining ?

unofficial pool isn't displaying the diff anymore on the miner? you changed it?

yeah i optimized it a bit, since lot of users get "unable to receive mining info from wallet" its because of http request timeout, and that request of "getMiningInfo" is sent every second by all miners, multiply that by 100 miners on the pool, and add up another type of request...

How about getting burst on bter?
newbie

Hey all,
I'm trying to mine using pocminer_pool_v1 on burst-pool.cryptoport.io. Unfortunately the only messages i'm getting in the console window is:

Code:
[WARN] [09/05/2014 08:41:28.316] [default-akka.actor.default-dispatcher-1852] [a
kka://default/user/$a/$b] null

I'm using Windows Server 2012 R2, & Java 64 bit (edit: I've just tried the 32 bit version - same result).

Here's the contents of the bat file:

Code:
java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://burst-pool.cryptoport.io:80

Any idea what's going on? It's been running for about 10 hours now and my 'Account Balance' is still zero. I'm not using very large plots (about 310GB so far) but i'd have expected something by now.

This coin shows great promise but it seems to take that long to set everything up that I can't be sure if things are working. I bought a 2TB earlier this week and the way the difficulty is rising (and the price dropping) I'm beginning to doubt I'll see ROI. I'm not in it to sell every bit of Burst I mine, but I need to cover costs!

Help!

Cheers.
