As far as the data storage, I wouldn't know where to start since my programming skills are novice at most. Probably is possible and a fork would probably have to be done to implement it.

I'm hoping to release a new client update within the next 1-2 days that goes into affect 2-3 days after that, and I would expect to have the v2 pool ready to go by then, so 3-5 days.

The problem with data storage, is with the current system, anyone can generate the same plot given the address/nonce combination stored in the blockchain to verify things, but if you try to do data storage, not everyone can store a copy of all the data.

Can we have a date for the pool v2 release? 5 days now!

to be honest, this would be a serious problem , for example, if i am a investor, and i want get the burst out of the platform and send to my wallet, and now we only have a website wallet, and if opening the wallet , you must open the wallet sever, for investor, they don't need update wallet so frequently ，right? the normal situation is ,investor should only open an gui wallet and the blockchain will download automaticlly, they don't need to update the wallet to 1.0.2 or 1.0.3. they just need to connect the wallet sever..then this will result the wallet severl be all updated to 1.0.3.

Yes,I think,this may be the problem.This is the reason why I don't like nxt based coins.But from other side,this is not POS coin,and investors can keep coins on exchanges.

This is not a bottle neck. Miner do not use so much resources. You can use 4 or more miners with no problem.
I don't know what is better for performance!
