2 Questions.

1. Do i have to generate the complete plot before i can begin to mine: Actuall generating is running and if i start mining, i get an access error on the plot
2. could i create multiple files perhaps von 1 to 800000, then next file from 800001 to 1600000?

Best Regards
boba

Both questions: Yes, you can. The miner will use whats already plotted.

Am using pool version of pocminer_v1 - get - Error: Unable to get mining info from wallet
runnin it on server 2012
I've configured this stuff 100% right!
tried to switch off firewall/add ports - get same error

And about wallet:
tried to sync wallet 1.0.3 or 1.0.2 - can't sync, stuck at 1st block.
tried to delete update/reinstall java - doesn't sync
tried to delete wallet db folder - doesn't sync

this kind of error only on my server 2012 rig, another win 7 x 64 works fine

Does anybody knows what am doing wrong? Undecided

The wallet with the pool is not used for mining.
This error usually appears when there is no internet connection.
Controls and synchronizes the time correctly with the server maybe time.nist.gov
Also check your firewall and antivirus if any.
You are using the Key address generated by the Pool to create the plots, right?
Sorry for my bad English.  Smiley

You generate plots once and that's it.  Definitely looks like a test pump with the garbage sell orders now posted.

Exactly. I said that a bit earlier.

We are now in accumulation phase, friends. Start accumulating!

Next up is pump, followed by bear trap, then up we go to the moon. See you guys there.

sorry, I dont understand this I still have 0.01% of the total asset on the Nxt
You can't transfer the burst back to me ?
He lost a lot of BURST and now wants to buy them back with BTC, but cant cause the market is empty. Therefore the buyback-order where you can still get BTC.
How did he lost the coins?
may be he sold a lots of coin in it ...
- I've updated that post with the details of the mistake:
I received  2'912.18998718 BURST coins with tx=9467129832984202729,
but sent 2'883.068 (= 2'912.1899 - 1%) * 1000BURST assets, 1000 times more. The guy, who receive that asset, is new to crypto, and to Asset Exchange. He sold that assets at 10-11-12 NXT. After I discovered  mistake (it was hard, just check the amount of txs at my issuing account). I wrote him (arbitrary) message, and he returned NXT he gain (a little consolation).

how careless you are!
so the buyer of the nxt asset got an incredible deal then?
- yes.
at my expense.

Can I specify a folder to generate? for example another disk?

You can by running the plot-executable from another directory:

cd /mnt/disk
/home/me/plot 1234 0 10000 10000 8

places the plotfile to /mnt/disk

is this a acceptable speed, or do i loose too much by using vm?! threads running on i7@~3.9Ghz ...

41 Percent done. 3580 nonces/minute

i7-3770, 3.4Ghz
46 Percent done. 4252 nonces/minute

i7-4770k @ 4.0Ghz:
2 Percent done. 4942 nonces/minute

Phenom 2 1090T, 3.2Ghz 6-core:
0 Percent done. 3301 nonces/minute

Thats great, thanks

You can see difficulty in byte in you wallet.Press NRS version and read more. Value difficulty is 2013135728305843 bytes

This figure is not the number of bytes. It's the cumulative difficulty. Difficulty for each block is just an arbitrary value which is adjusted up or down depending on how quickly recent blocks have been found.

Quoting the dev:

New update 1.0.3 update by block 6500
Download: https://mega.co.nz/#!G0YS1CKA!car3sW6XULkl0FyOngbyidoKnzEiBsNx5v7SJj4Byo4
sha256: 22cdc6cda9530cfbc75eaf68932fe82228b740910eefc085732aac784d433a09
or grab it from githib

Move your burst_db folder from the old client to the new one to avoid re-downloading the blockchain.

This adds the protocol update needed for v2 pools, and goes into effect on on block 6500. Usage is not yet integrated into the gui, so expect another update for that, but it won't be mandatory to stay in sync like this one is.

Great news! I'm really excited about this coin.

Can you clarify how the difficulty figure relates to the total size of all miner's plots? Is it equal to the total number of bytes across all miner's plots, or is there another formula? Thanks!

A scaling factor is used and adjusted based on recent block times to attempt to get 4min/block. The difficulty used internally is (2^64)/scaling_factor. What is displayed in nrs info is cumulative difficulty(block 1 dif + block 2 dif + ... + block n dif).

A general difficulty -> TB amount could likely be found but I don't know it.
