one question....

I have made a ton of different plots, and I want to be able to keep adding more, however, I didn't keep that great of track (and by that I mean I didn't keep track at all, lol) of where I had started each plot, and I have a pretty large disaster of plots going on over here, I know that none of them overlap right now, but if I keep adding 3-4 TB a week like I plan, I will eventually have to add more plots on more non-overlapping numbers...

my question being... How many digits can you go up to on the starting number for plotting??? I have done as high as 8880000000_(x)_(x)

but... how high can you actually go? Can I start at something like 888000888000888000888? If so then I don't have to figure out my mess, I can keep adding zeros... lol...

If I have a limit, then I will have to figure out my mess of plots and where the free space is.

Thanks!

Someone can post how many miners are mining burst?
Last time i check was 750 miners or something like this.

Thanks.

No one can do that?
579 BURST addresses found a Block or more! (lastBlock: 5382)

Wow that's a really good statistic...

That's pretty damn well-distributed!

where did you get this information?

Yes you have not enough RAM to that huge plot. I don t know if plot can generate but when you run miner you will be out of memory.

Love the username.

That's awesome. I named my daughter after a dune character.

I wonder if it would be any more difficult for an exchange to add this coin due to the daemon being in java

hi, is there a minimum how much hd space is need it and is there a maximum in how much hd space you could add to the network?
no limit, the more the better

oh ok so 500 tb won't be a problem ?
500 tb is where i aim for in 3 month. my tests showed parsing them in time gets tricky but is absolutely possible.
the hard design work is to not block the mining during you write/create your plotfiles.

Shocked @dminer69  just notice you are the dev of XCloudcoin ...don't tell me you want to use your cloud storage mine this coin Smiley... it is welcome if you come to mine this coin and i will also be happy if you can help to advertise this coin

Remember guys, 1% fee on deposit and 1% fee on withdrawal!

- yes, only 1% if you sell your BURST coins,

and only 1% if you buy BURST coins at Asset Exchange via BURST Gataway, where it is explicitly stated.

If someone wants to buy this precious innovating coin, he can acquire
100'000 BURST at 0.00169 BTC/1000BURST (= 29 NXT, based on current Crypty's sell orders) (unlike c-cex) at decentralized Asset Exchange right now,
and he also can place some buy orders at his own price:

Buy 1000BURST with NXT
Sell Orders (31)

NXT-7G7H-BE28-B967-FTBWW   4.977   28   139.356
NXT-NVAA-9MDU-XNQ7-62LYF     4.95   28.8   142.56
NXT-3FH7-TS6Q-44EV-8B9LN        100   29   2'900

Don't miss the party! Let's make some BURST now !

And please do not forget to withdraw the BURST coins that you have bought at Asset Exchange.

give me please the link (url) to  ..

People hold your coin and ask for Bittrex, that's the only way! Or if you want only dump your coin paying 1% fee on deposit and 1% fee on whitdrawal that's the right exchange!
- if someone sell his coins, he pays only 1% depost fee.

Good luck to hodl coin with 3'600'000 per day mining volume.

I love the way you change your mind!  Wink

Yes you have not enough RAM to that huge plot. I don t know if plot can generate but when you run miner you will be out of memory.

what if i create multiple plots ? will i still be out of ram ?

i mean i have this 33 tb of spare space ..... i setted them in raid 0 ( 12 x 3 tb   ---- taken away the file sistem is 33 tb)

if i make some 16 plots of 2 tb will i be fine with 8 gb of ram ?

If it's on the same computer i think it does not change anything. With my observeation you need 2GB RAM per 1TB plot file.
yes, my computer is 2GRam, and i run the miner  with 1.6T plots, occupy 80+% ram
