Plot merge refactors the plot files so you have less disk seeking and longer sequential reads. Your read speed will increase and hdd stress will be reduced.


At this point you should probably just make solo plots. New client update will most likely be released tomorrow that will allow solo plots to be used on pools a few days later.

im native on ubuntu x64 14.04 dunno if in vmware u will gate same performance.

The Plot-generator rewritten in C is bloody fast... got a 4x speed ... before i was writing 2 gb in 7 min ... now 1 gb in 1 min !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how can recompile to windows version?

Testing across multiple machines revealed an issue, and I'm going to have to postpone the client update a day.

I switched to the pool the other day and unfortunately wiped my solo plots to plot for the pool.  With the new version I hope I can solo mine with the pool plots and pool mine.
