Hey everyone

Just checking how's the new UI, I hope you all like it Smiley. Secondly I'm buying up to 200K BURST, PM me with offers.

can add the top block finders in wallet UI? i think it will be more convenient rather open an other website,,

I only helped with new the front-end UI, adding the top block finders would require back end work as well, that's not my area of expertise sadly, you'll have to ask burstcoin about that .

Is there a new richlist somewhere?
There was a top block finders with their balance list posted some pages back: http://pastebin.com/HBFuBRL9 , but afaik no rich list.

all block-finders and their current balance ...

https://mega.co.nz/#!h5hBgQba!p8A7PR_JboGlakjyYP5DiCLbuHGH4pkgAYJ6X0GrGYM
your wallet has to be up and running ... i'm just using its api!
sources included, if you dont't trust me compile it yourself ...

usage:

save to text file:
execute bat file (for win) or ...
Code:
java > blockfinder-list.txt -jar burst-blockfinder-0.1.0.jar localhost:8125

print to command line:
Code:
java -jar burst-blockfinder-0.1.0.jar localhost:8125

localhost:8125 ist default, not needed ... just to let you know how to change wallet url.

how would you create a plot on a network drive?
lets say x:. would you need to java flies (pocminer) and the run generate to exist in the root of the network drive?
how does it know to connect to your run_mine and ID on the parent machine?

Hi guys,

My pc crashed while I was plotting a 1TB drive, done about 250GB. Can I continue generating from wherever it stopped? Or do I need to start the plots again?

Thanks.

Start a new plot that starts on 250GB.
near 976562 and change the plot size.

How do I know that the id file I generated in my miner program is tied to my wallet account?  I haven't seen anything that solidly states it is.  When I open the localhost:8125 now, it opens to the correct BURST account number, but if I find a block how do I know I got it?  How do I even tell if I have found a block?

CGminer and SGminer had the Difficulty / Best Share numbers so that made it easy to tell.

if you login into web wallet localhost:8125 and click on NRS a pop up with all data appear...
difficulty information too.

Difficulty is currently 329.7 TRILLION.  Is this supposed to encourage me to mine?
That's the cumulative difficulty, I'm not sure if that even has much to do with probability of finding a block. You can however still find blocks with as little as 500 GB of plots. Just give it a couple days. But hell, I don't care if you mine or not, go cry somewhere else.

you have not update your wallet! just look the op! when you updated , it should output baseTarget ....

Right! I was looking at the block number and the time, but yes, you need to update your wallet before block 2700!

No, obviously! In fact i'm asking myself why you are still here.. Don't you think that maybe your words aren't the best for someone that is helping you? People like you, spreading shit everywhere, must be ignored. The how-to is in the first page, lot of us was able to set up everything without any trouble, wallet is working, miner too and every 4 minutes someone find a block, so read, study, try, test and stop mucking up this thread.

Burstcoin should do his "IPO" when the market conditions are better - like in real world a Company would NEVER go to the market under these condition!!

Well, I can say that even with the current difficulty, I am able to hit blocks, and even when my main storage server was down, that took away over 3TB of my mining space, I still found a block last night with the 800 gigs or so that I had left, so I say as long as you have a decent amount of hard drive space, it should be pretty decent to mine.
