http://burstcoin.eu/charts/estimated-network-size disabled???
or just under maintenance???
dev are dismissing burst???
Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Call it maintenance if you want Grin
I've found a new owner and dev for burstcoin.eu. Domain, script and database will move within next few days to new server.

Who will be the owner?
I would prefer someone who loves BURST and has no hidden agendas Smiley

I`m currently at block 100.000 downloaded, and it takes about 1 hour 30 minutes for 5000 block to be downloaded. I got a 8mb/s internet connection so its not my internet, i guess there are few nodes in the network.

Is there any way to download it faster?

I threw a current db up onto dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/omu6fycq9c0nptk/burst.h2.zip?dl=0

Looks cool to me, 1 question thought i saw that the block time is 10 min like with bitcoin, but the coin was released  in august 2014, however it has more blocks than bitcoin which was released in 2009.

How is this possible to have more blocks than bitcoin when its 5 years younger, and has the same block time?

Burst has a 4 minute block time Cheesy

and 121 056 blocks so far...bitcoin has 365 507

Oh sorry i confused it with another altcoin Cheesy

Also is there a torrent site with updated blockchain? I downloaded the official torrent for the blockchain that is for april from the main website, but since then there have been too many new blocks.

I`m currently at block 100.000 downloaded, and it takes about 1 hour 30 minutes for 5000 block to be downloaded. I got a 8mb/s internet connection so its not my internet, i guess there are few nodes in the network.

Could I get some help to get my wallet verified? None of the faucets in the guides were up anymore...

account id: BURST-QWUL-6HFB-4DWM-95NPN

We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it, in the mean time the faucet on our french site is still up http://burstcoin.fr/faucet

EDIT: I also mistakenly pasted your addy instead of mine while doing a final verification Cheesy

Really sad this coin reached 1k when with a single 2t i could mine millions a day, and now with high difficulty is less then 100 satoshi.

Go burst.

it never reached 1k btw, but I agree it is ridiculous the price right now.

Yes, it reached 1.1k.
It was early september 2014 on c-cex.

burst was at 1100+sat on c-cex ... good old days ... ;P
burst was not even on polo ...
but there were never more than 3,6 mil. burst a day ... so 'millions' is unrealistic.

I don't count that lol. I remember selling on the forums before it was on any exchange at all, 250 sat was the agreed upon price. xD

and yea, even with 50+ TB I was never getting anywhere near millions a day. It took quite a while still to get a million.

I remember the 1.1k.....at a point i mined 10k burst with 120gb in a week.....and it was worth $50 NZD. It was crazy! But then i was a noob....and didn't sell....but rather bought some more btc and bought at 600....during the dump....heh, yes, the good old days Cheesy

who is the main wallet coder/dev here? i see too many diff versions and its starting to get alarming.

burstdev is the main dev here. It's all build on his code. First there are complains because he's alone. Now we're helping out and it's alarming  Roll Eyes
