Nxt recently posted in their forums a list of developers and donation addresses... might be nice to send some money to their equivalent Burst accounts as a way of showing our appreciation for the hard work that got Burst to the point of being as awesome as it is and some of it's cool features.  It may also be nice from a PR point of view in that it allows us to introduce some Nxt developers (and the community in general) directly to Burst in a way that generates friendly feelings plus forces them to download the Burst wallet if they want to access their Burst.

https://nxtforum.org/general-discussion/core-dev-recognition-guide-and-donation-addresses/

Keep in mind you remove the "NXT" and replace it with Burst, it becomes a Burst wallet address accessible using the same password.

Example: NXT-4BTE-8Y4K-CDS2-6TB82  -> BURST-4BTE-8Y4K-CDS2-6TB82

What do you think?

Edit:  For that matter, we raise enough, might also make for a nice feel good PR piece...

I think that is not a good idea, because if they public key are not registred in the network, those accounts are really unsafe, and we make a donation to the thiefs that looks for that kind of accoutns.

Yes, Coincapmarkt has now the the correct available supply of coins.

Burst is now on place 61 out of 547 crypto currencies....

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/all/

If we exclude non-mineable and preminded, we are on place 37!!!

Thats great news.

thanks for the info, indeed great news, not so long ago market cap was 70K now it is 220K (3 x) 1 million market cap is not that unreasonable (1 million is low estimate but a good and modest starting point)

btw I saw network capacity briefly touch 18 Peta bytes...

what does the parameter "UseFastRcv" : true,  exactly do?
Is it better on or off?

uray has been missing for a few days, I've tried to reach him with no luck. Lets hope he'll back real soon! Smiley

Hello,

Anyone know what happen to Uray BCPT assets ?

The value as being very low and I didn't get the payout since some days, then on the new web pool interface there is no more the asset session.

Thanks

Fabrizio

this is a good question. i have dumped mine many days ago since burst increased in value.
if burst doubles during the next weeks the current price of the asset needs a correction.
BCPT asset is still paying but at a much smaller scale than before as expected since his pool is having issues so miners have been moving to another pool.

Is there a help file? Nothing in the 7-zip. I need to use this on Dev's V2 Pool so I need to modify this code:

Code:
 {
    "poolUrl" : "burst-pool.cryptoport.io",
    "submissionMaxDelay" : 30,
    "submissionMaxRetry" : 3,
    "socketTimeout" : 60,
    "maxBufferSizeMB" : 64,
    "plots" :
  [
    "c:\\pocminer_v1\\plots",
    "D:\\plots",
        "E:\\plots",
    "F:\\plots",
    "G:\\plots",
    "H:\\plots"
]
 }

Also this is only for 1 drive. What is the syntax for multiple drives?

Thanks

Hi coinits, see above

Thanks

remeber to escape path!!!
or miners will give you errors!!!

       "H:\\plots"

Isn't that uray's miner/config...? Afaik only Blago's C-miner works on dev's v2.

Hi,

I've got 10 x HDDS plotted/plotting and I have 10 x mining windows open, one for each hard drive.  Can anyone give me an example of how to have one window mine all 10 hard drives?  I know the answer is probably in here already but searching 800+ pages doesn't seem much fun.  Drives are E: to N:

I really need to do this because some of the windows keep having a java crash so they stop mining and I have to restart them.  I can create a script to reset automatically but would rather have a script that kept an eye on one DOS window instead of ten.

Cheers in advance!

You should check out my Windows Mining Guide...

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Bc1LIG0vOYYW6FxgBHhQGjKqm0aWoSClkqaNJx17wWk/edit?usp=sharing

It shows you how to use Blago's miner. Which will do what you're asking. Blago section is at the bottom.

I don't know if you can do that or not but it is easy to monitor 10 windows with an automatic reset in your mining bat:

Code:
@echo off
cls
:start
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1024m -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://178.62.39.204:8121
goto start

Thanks, I'll give that a try later as I'm plotting four drives at the moment and it's using a bit of resource and I'm remoting the machine.  I know there is a way to include all the plots in one batch file so I'll try that too if someone comes up with the sample.

Blago's (Win), uray's (linux/Win) or dcct's (linux) MINERS are much more effective, and you can specify each drive to mine and will only get one window to check.

Stay away from the java miner and go for the oneS written in C; links in OP:

I do not see any c-based miners in the OP for Windoze.

This is Uray's C Miner
