Plot Optimizer v1.5 - j6jq fork

I have made some bug fixes since version 1.1 and added a delay feature if your available memory fluctuates with mining.  Read more at the Burst forum located at: https://burstforum.com/index.php?threads/plot-optimizer-v1-5-j6jq.268.

Mister Koko, you have sold close to 600k burst worth of hash. That makes your asset a very big player. So far i have not seen any stats on your asset. Please release some more info, and also, i don't invest for many reasons, but i think a large buy wall would be reassuring. Thanks.

I want a buy wall because your asset has no backing, but a pools fee, which relies on miners, and some cloudmining contracts.

If no-one buys your cloud mining or no-one mines on your pool, well, investors are stuffed.

You may wonder why no-one wants this for uray's pool, well he developed his pool from scratch, and is a highly respected member of the community. With our asset, Hardinvest, i have a 10% buy wall up at 135 burst/each. I think this is fair, especially seeing as the only way for our asset to fail is if burst dies, and then the invested burst would've been useless in any case, as the asset is backed by 10tb of mining power atm. If the pool dies, well there is still revenue.

So no reply and no buy wall, what does that mean?

I know I won't invest, especially seeing as all you do with investor money is use it to gain miners. Once investors stop investing, well the pool dies and investor money is wasted.

It looks like we haven't got much needed attention from investors and supporters...

There is virtually no solid support on the markets ... And trade volume is really low in last 24h.

I don't know if bittrex wallet problems had some impact on it...

Burst is searching for new support line..

I still think this coin has competitive advantage to other alt-coins... but market clearly sees it other way...

Stop crying, we will rise from the ashes. Even if the ashes means 20 satoshi, who cares? Even at current price farms are too profitable.

Yeah, the bittrex argument never made much sense.
if block reward goes down to 1000 burst and people mine on a 500 pb network in four years nobody believes you could buy such cheap  Cool

Some motherscratcher deleted my most recent thoughtful, accurate, and thought-provoking post here.  They are obviously a liberal, as it was about highlights of Obamas failures as a president.  PM me and I will send you the full text.

1. The miner doesn't automatically ping to check for IP changes, so until the devs implement that into the miner, I would suggest setting up some sort of restart script for your miners, so that they restart themselves every hour or so, that way the max amount of time down will be an hour, or less, however you set it up. You can PM me for a script.
...

I'm sorry, but the miner has already specifies the IP address to each connection to the server...
https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/blob/master/miner.cpp#L1703    string #972 and #1703

Please confirm that the new version checks for IP change
before each connection to the server function is called:
Code:
getaddrinfo(nodeaddr, nport, &hints, &result);
it defines the IP for a given name

"The getaddrinfo function aggregates all responses if more than one namespace provider returns information. For use with the IPv6 and IPv4 protocol, name resolution can be by the Domain Name System (DNS)" http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms738520(v=vs.85).aspx

Planned Downtime for burstcoin.io pool US | SG | EU

reason :
  • Update wallet to 1.1.4
  • Performance Improvement
  • Pending payment queue fix & improvement

started at Block 26615 for 3 to 5 blocks (10-15 minutes)

It seems like the payments are stuck for your SG pool after you upgraded the wallet  Huh

same problem here. no payout since 14 hours, and my balance on the pool shows 2.68? (pool3.burstcoin.io). my other miner on the poool has a balance of 0 even with some pretty good deadlines Tongue
just received a payment...
