GPU plot generator v4.0.0

Changelog :
Support for multiple output files added.
Direct writing added.
Memory management improved.
File seek() calls enhanced.Please note that direct writing is a vast failure. It kills all the performances on standard HDDs as it requires far too many file seeks. You can give it a try (use "direct" as the parameter of the [generate] command), but don't expect too much. Maybe it can be usefull in a scenario of SSD plotting with a huge staggerSize value then copy/paste to regular HDDs. Anyway, it's implemented, so use it at your own will ^^
I'll try to make an enhanced vesion of the dcct's optimizer and ship it into the plotter through a new [optimize] command in the next version.

and what r u going to do with those bursts ?

You have a point.  I would do better only buying 95%.

I'd buy 10mil, and then giveaway another 10mil for bounties 'an things Wink

Mister Koko, you have sold close to 600k burst worth of hash. That makes your asset a very big player. So far i have not seen any stats on your asset. Please release some more info, and also, i don't invest for many reasons, but i think a large buy wall would be reassuring. Thanks.

I want a buy wall because your asset has no backing, but a pools fee, which relies on miners, and some cloudmining contracts.

If no-one buys your cloud mining or no-one mines on your pool, well, investors are stuffed.

You may wonder why no-one wants this for uray's pool, well he developed his pool from scratch, and is a highly respected member of the community. With our asset, Hardinvest, i have a 10% buy wall up at 135 burst/each. I think this is fair, especially seeing as the only way for our asset to fail is if burst dies, and then the invested burst would've been useless in any case, as the asset is backed by 10tb of mining power atm. If the pool dies, well there is still revenue.

I am new to all this, can someone explain how can a buy order crash a coin?

It means that if Someone sells alitte bit more that 1.7206 bitcoins worth of GB,it will take the price down "crash" to 1 satoshi. It wont happen, Burst is an amazing coin, more people will join this novel coin soon

Then it isnt a buy order then is it Smiley

Its ok though. I get it. Just a mixup in usage of terms, seasoned people just skip over some parts as they think they are implied.

The only reason i don't want that happening is because then there will be mega whale Sad Otherwise it's allgudz....cheaper for me to buy

Hehe, im new but for 1 sat even I could be a mega whale Cheesy

it artifacts with parallel writing multiple threads in a single file.

English: The program running on initial node/farm retrieves info regarding blocks from the wallet (local?), thus reducing traffic and network slowdowns congestion.  Deadlines are sent to the pool.

English: On subsequent nodes/farms (n+1), for the server address parameter indicate the IP address of the initial node/farm.  Found deadlines will be sent to the initial node/farm/proxy.  The initial/first node's received deadlines (from other nodes) are combined into a single list and the best deadline at that moment for that round  is sent to the pool.

English: Support for multiple accounts is available.  Plots can be from any account (however, this feature is not available for the first dev pool).  My understanding of this is that different nodes feeding the proxy can actually be for different burst accounts.

new update miner-burst -1.141024
https://www.dropbox.com/s/oztvnfjvawzvz8m/miner-burst-1.141024.zip?dl=0

For normal use, the config should be the:
Code:
  "Mode" : "pool",
   "Server" : "pool.burstcoin.io",
   "Port": 80,
   "UpdaterAddr" : "pool.burstcoin.io",
   "UpdaterPort": 80,

added client-server architecture for multiple rig.
Several rig transmit their deadlines proxy server, which selects the best of them.
Best deadline passed pool.
This allows you to not charge a penalty and bans.

if you want get info from local wallet:
Code:
"UpdaterAddr" : "localhost",
"UpdaterPort": 8125,

if you want get info from pool:
Code:
"UpdaterAddr" : "ADDR_POOL_HERE",
"UpdaterPort": 80,

if you want start proxy:
"EnableProxy": true,

Sorry, but maybe the following information will help answer your questions...

1. The miner doesn't automatically ping to check for IP changes, so until the devs implement that into the miner, I would suggest setting up some sort of restart script for your miners, so that they restart themselves every hour or so, that way the max amount of time down will be an hour, or less, however you set it up. You can PM me for a script.
...

I'm sorry, but the miner has already specifies the IP address to each connection to the server...

so, you're saying that your miner DOES automatically check for IP changes? I have never used your miner myself.
