I mined with 4 TB HDD, but only 40 BURST has been digged.
The pool uses "http://pool.burstcoin.party/", should I change it?

Why this project started picking up so late considering it has been  in development since 2014 ?

Lack of marketing pure and simple.  And current dev team has only been at it for about 1.5 years.  BURST has really only had some substantially marketing the last 2 - 3 months.  People are just becoming aware, I personally think this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I bought a stake in Burst. The size of the buy-orders today is exceptional compared to any of the buy-orders in the recent months. I expect this coin to rise like Digibyte did last month.

The concept of mining with your HDD is a really distinguishing feature. Very nice work from the devs!
Yes,I bought some too, wish is the next DGB.

Maybe because of all the developments in the meanwhile? That's what these coins are actually about... however a lot of other coins tend to only thrive on promises.

Well, a lot of them are in development and the price is way higher.

Maybe something too nerdish tied with bad/absent marketing ?

Coin interesting and good price, but would you like to know if you have another roadmap besides the first page? Grateful.
i think they have not!!!
first burst dev has gone...
this coin survive just for a big big community!!!

First dev is apparently gone... but current dev team has been I  place for about 1.5 years and very dedicated and invested.

That's right and I'm sure that soon we'll get an updated roadmap. But for now people can join the weekly conference calls on Tuesday's at around 3:30 pm. I posted the link below to this weeks conference call for anyone who had missed it or wants to keep up to date on what is going on with Burst.

for brand new hard disks ROI is ~12-15 months.
For old used stuff - lower, depends on how much stuff you can allocate.

Calculate for yourself: http://burstcoin.biz/calculator
It's calculator correct?
I have plot size about 100 Tb and profit about 400 Burst/day  Angry
Miner has work on Win 2008R2, 8 cpu, 16gm Ram
what wrong?

$ 10.24   0.00588302 BTC a day

Like I always say to people who go by what the calculator says, it's only a guide and not a guarantee of how many Burst coins you'll gget everyday. Just remember that more miners are now joining the pools so that would mean more of the stake gets shared with everyone and also that if you happen to mine a block then the Burst coins averages out so some days you might get less and then some days you might get a lot more then the average. So I wouldn't rely on what the calculator says.

Check https://www.eetgroup.com/ they have refurbished HDDs, you can get a good price sometimes. But it's mostly server HDDs.

Would be fun to BURST off the SD Card on your android phone! Cheesy

You can if you have like a 8-16-64-128GB sd card.

Is it profitable?

This is great to see however I think you should add the online wallets which I posted in a previous post as they are always up and running unlike the other online wallets which can be down sometimes. Also I would also like to see this faucet added as well http://faucet.burstnation.com/ and the Burst Nation forum https://www.burstnation.com/ I really like what you have done and will promote this on Twitter and I hope to see these few things added.
