have told you guys early, the calculator is only just a estimated number,, it is not accurate, the network size should be 5400+TB now, the picture pasted before indicating the average is more accurate.

From what I have seen, the miner starts to give these messages as it gets more and more miners. I think somewhere in the code there is a concurrent connection limit.
It should work fine, but it will occasionally give this message

Only put them in raid 0 because I knew 4tb wasn't going to be worth running for more than maybe a week or two and after that I wanted it for my media storage.   Time to wipe my plots and go back to filling my storage with movies and 360 games.

edit :
bet xcloudcoin dumps major coin amounts during the next pump and the pump dies quick....

ok, i have occationlly found an interesting thread of xcloudcoin, i think it is good to maintain this price for a long time, because i bet xcloudcoin will not happy with busrt's low price, here is the words of their dev :https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762940.240
Hey guys, my apologies

I've been a pretty busy with work, cloudsend testing is now over, we are getting a new coder to revise the code ill be making a decision upon the final results.

I know the price is low right now, but just keep in mind this is not a short term project we are working hard to have a bright future.

we sold an other 100k of burst and now placing support.

The burst mining pool for cld support is now set to this address now http://burst.cryptoport.io/acc/13769897621418281461 once burst get some good buy support we are going to begin selling with our hurting the price.

and also an interesting guy who post this:
Good idea too man but the main point is not to help BURST by increasing their nethash or giving others control, its to to dump it for the best possible price and sure up our CLD market.

I mine BURST and I buy CLD. Both coins will go up over time as long as the dev keeps hitting BURST, dumping it and buying CLD. BURST will only go up in value due to its innovative PoC mining which means that as long as the dev keeps hitting it the CLD market will keep gaining support.

Matter of fact, I can't see a more sure fire way to steadily increase the value of your crypto portfolio - mining BURST and buying CLD.

Wouldn't be surprised to see CLD at 20,000 come the weekend with BURST up over 1000 Sat!

so, i think with current price, they can't dump much, and their investor will feel angry, let's keep this, because i found the vol of xcloudcoin is less than burst, they only have the vol of 0.08btc/day. these btc should be all the burst dump, that imply they hold the coin and not sell, so, we should maintain the price, and attracting more miners during these time, maybe when enough miners involved, xcloudcoin can't mine a lot anymore.
i don't like the method of spreading fud in their thread, but doesn't mean we will let them happy mining, we should attract more miners to increase the nethash before push the price up

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I have stopped mining this piece of shit crapcoin.  I hadn't had a payout for DAYS with 10.43 TB of disk space pimping away, I was tired of the piece of crap Java miner hogging 9 GB of ram for two instances of mining, I'm tired of the developers' half-assed miner and having to do half the programming work just to compile and run the damn thing.

My 4 3TB Seagate Barracuda hard drives are on ebay right now for a VERY fair $340 and free shipping in the USA.

Furthermore, I predict that this crapcoin will never see 500 satoshis again.  Anyone who tries to talk it up by saying things like "to da mooooooon", is a fool, an idiot, and a moron.

So screw this crapcoin and everything about it.

Basically whe you say screw everything about this coin you are telling us all to f*ck off...
Thats not very nice of you.

This dude it funny, it's like 99% of the time complaining and insulting the coin. I hope he doesn't treat his customers this way either.

I got 3x 3TB used for $120 on CL and they are still running fine. I average 2 to 3 blocks a day with 25TB solo mining. This isn't a crap coin, go look at CNL, that's an example of a crap coin.

If certain people don't like this coin, then get out of this thread and go make your own dam coin then.

Shut down my hard drive miners today.  Going to sell my 1tb drive and keep my 2 2tb drives I bought for this coin in raid 0.  Will hold onto  my coins and probably buy a few more though.  Also last few rounds very fast, my 2 2tb in raid 0 didn't finish have time to finish the last few rounds.

DO NOT put them in RAID0 --VERY BAD idea, rather plot them separately. If one fails you lose both sets of plots in raid0. Plotted individually you only lose the failed drive.

I bet most people complaining about HDD failure after a while are mostly Windows users. Have you ever wondered why LINUX never requires defragmentation?  Roll Eyes

hdd aren't like gpu, they can fail too easy, then you need to rma and all the bullshit that come with that
