Could someone please point me to the code in the published pool miner which allows the pool owner to submit a reward-assigned block to the local wallet?

As long as the AMD has AVX/AVX2, it should do very well with the optimized cpu plotter. Very impressive that it does gpu plotting speed on certain cpus.

ye, new cpu plotter work well whit fx series, about 6000 n\m whit my 8120 @3.5ghz
but whit phenom II 965 is the same of old c plotter, about 2600 n\m whit both

It's not actually that surprising.

The GPU mode is still kind of buggy on my graphic card (an old GeForce 9300M GS), don't know the exact reason yet. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I will try to fix this issue tomorrow.

I would never say never, but I am quite skeptical about the nonce computation ever being modified for major speed gains on current GPUs.  It requires each thread to crawl over every part of a 256k buffer while computing shabal hashes for all of it, and the cores on top-end GPUs only contain 64kb of memory.  I can't see any way to avoid a huge amount memory bandwidth.  This is a different problem than for scrypt (where you can trade the memory for extra computation), in that it actually requires access to the memory, or perhaps some fast way to find shabal preimages.

If only we had more miners.
The pool is hemmhoraging money in server costs alone, it's not even earning 0.1 BTC per day, I won't run it very long like this.

But we don't have a lot of miners  Cheesy  , this is the real problem ....

Looks like a pump is going on poloniex

That's not a pump...
That was the pool payouts.

it's crazy when even this miniscule buy pressure influences the markets so much.  If we had more miners we could make a bigger difference, but alas.
I fixed the problems that had the payout stuck (stupid bittrex requiring the withdraw message - at least the pool didn't lose any coins)
Kinda funny that my ~600 GH/s of SHA mining power puts me at the top of those payouts.
It seems that SHA mining and converting to BUSRT is more lucrative than mining BURST directly...

If only we had more miners.

Pretty sure that the Win plot optimiser has fubar'd my plots again.  Recommend not using.

Anyone who has used the latest cpu plotter can inform of max stagger.

Thanks

Yep. Big stagger size kill your plots.

I've created 20k staggers with wplotgenerator - they are working!

K:\HDD_Mine\plots\*****_446200000_1240000_20000

         deadline 93177
         nonce: 446780222
         publickey: *****
         targetHeight: 14383

Thanks.  What processor are you using.  I notice in the OP for this plotgenerator that all listed plotters are against Intel processors.  I have AMD.

I've an Intel i7 2600; But it should be working with every processor... It's using AVX (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Vector_Extensions#CPUs_with_AVX) and/or AVX2 only when available.

Those, who has 1000Burst assets at Nxt Asset Gateway and did not sellback at 50 NXT, please withdraw your BURST coins from Burst gateway with 5% interest.

Just transfer your 1000BURST assets to the issuing account (NXT-VVTV-U25N-U2FY-2V35H) and in the attached message place your BURST address (not in numeric, but in alpha-numeric format, like BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5).

If I have rewardassignment.html set to a different address, can I solo mine?  Should I provide the passphrase for the recipient address to the miner?

I am solo mining found a block a few days ago. 9500 burst in my wallet. version 1.1.2  I sent 2 burst to Poloniex 3 days ago as a test.
It never showed up.

The (first) burstcoin that you have received  must to be "confirmed" 1440 times  Wink ( to be used... ) .

I think redsn0w must be pulling your leg.  You should open a ticket with Poloniex.

Let's Talk HD's for a moment.

In my opinion Seagate is worst brand,  WD is better and Hitachi is king?

You are obviously (and wrongly) biased by your small wallet.

If you spend the right amount, both your "last places" make good HDs for NAS.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/WD-3-5-inch-Internal-Hard-Drive/dp/B00FJRS5BA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1411234775&sr=8-3&keywords=wd+black

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seagate-ST4000VN000-Network-Atttached-Internal/dp/B00D1GYO4S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1411234797&sr=8-3&keywords=seagate+nas

If you were serious about storage, you'd just read what Synology recommends for their NAS as an indicator, because NAS storage requirements are so much higher than the HDs connected to a lame Windows in your grandma's basement.

I don't know what is wrong with you and the tone you talk down to people...
Do you actually know every person in this world and every fact known to man?
I noticed earlier you had paranormal readings from my pool...

currently i am working on payment system for merchant and escrow service that accept burst as a currency, and also figuring out how to integrate it with burst asset exchange and market

You've talked to the dev about this, right?  I think he's working on something similar, might be scope for collaboration.

as dev plan for file storage, i think its better off start small first, like storing wallet contact into blockchain instead of local wallet

I think this is a really challenging problem.  It's worth reading the safecoin whitepapers about this to see some of the potential difficulties.

and also we could use burst blockchain like torrent tracker or something, future is bright y know
and also i am thinking about using burst node as CDN service

Safecoin is also a good place to look for ideas about this.  Interestingly, it looks like the first notion of proof-of-capacity arose as a way to secure such a service.

Newbee question,

I am solo mining found a block a few days ago. 9500 burst in my wallet. version 1.1.2  I sent 2 burst to Poloniex 3 days ago as a test.
It never showed up.

Question do I have to wait 1440 blocks of confirmation before I can transfer the mined burst to an exchange ?

In my wallet I have a balance of 9500 burst, available burst 9505  but both Guaranteed and Effective are at 0.  Will
they reflect 9500 once I get 1440 confirmations ?

Any other tips for sending burst to Poloniex

Community i need your help ... im trying to keep the price of BURST at 200 satoshi ... but i cannot do it alone ... so we need more buy pressure ... as u can se at poloniex and c-cex i already buy 200k BURST alone ...

If u care about this coin you need to buy ... trust me 200 satoshi is a good price ... it can easy go to 500

Let the price rise according to the nonfinancial value the coin is expected to provide.  Manipulating the price to sex it up financially is unethical and shortsighted.

In my opinion Seagate is worst brand,  WD is better and Hitachi is king?

I've got some seagates which are absolutely dire in terms of write performance: 40 MB/s over USB 3.  I think they are fine for mining, though.  I have also read that the poor performance comes from the external enclosure, and if you rip the SATA disk out from it you can get pretty good bandwidth.

they make too much noise for me, WD are far better, very silent

Someone's bought Burst till 190 satoshi making price rise a little, and some others sell dumped back to 120 satoshi.
This is the portrait to understand why people don't want to buy.
This trend will go on for nexts 12 months.

Sell all your coins and stop crying.

i almoust have 1 mil BURST ... if u still want to keep this 120 satoshi price u will do me more good ... i just made 4 BTC profit from Stellar i will be waiting for the 120 satoshi dumpers
