may I ask another thing, the smaller the hdd capacity, the faster the plotting? am I right?

Mate for the price you going to spend on all these HD's why not just buy Burst? For .07 btc you'll get about 120k..

BTW.. can anyone tell me some great moon stories? I bought some Burst and holding for a while, is there some good dev going on / coming up?

I think you should invest them into some good asset!

Or as said, buy some of them.

So if my ID is visible in the network (sent a few burst around..) what could be the reason for still getting the error id 5 while trying to set a pool for mining?

Incorrect passphrase. Make sure you're not copying any white space at the beginning/end of the phrase, or a line break in the middle - that'll change your passphrase and be a different passphrase

Checked this many times, nope. Can´t be the reason.

It does work for an online wallet but not local, any idea?!

Make sure your local wallet is up to date - sounds like it might be stuck or forked

200GB worth mining?

And burstcoin website is for shit.

Unable to connect

Pale Moon can't establish a connection to the server at web.burst-team.us:449.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Pale Moon is permitted to access the Web.

I can get there using any of:

if i use an external 500gb usb 3.0 harddisk...
how many burst can i mine in 1 week aprox?

You can use this calculator to get some numbers:

http://burstcoin.biz/calculator

Edit: This is the new thread -> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-new-burst-op-mine-any-free-space-hdd-mining-ats-ae-p2p-marketmore-1323657

70cents$ a month  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

500GB is almost nothing due to the current network size!
Also consider that to produce those 70cents you will spend practically nothing!

It's an issue with the pool server and not with your miner I believe.

Thx and person above. Was beginning to think I had done something wrong lol. Gonna have try a few other pools by looks of it see how it pans out.

That's a comms issue - either the host or somewhere between you and it are overloaded, it'll clear up by itself
