No, he meant using janror's GPU plotter to plot HDDs. New AVX2 CPUs also work quite nice for plotting purposes.

My calculation is if i buy 3 tb hdd minning space and this invest is never come back.

Really?  What's your calculation of where the price of BURST will be 6 months to a year from now?

You also have to figure in if you're buying drives they will also have some resale value.  Mining BURST is relatively low impact on them.

I started with 100 GB and plotted my way up to about 12 TB... I've mined almost 50,000 coins in about 2 months.  It obviously is going to get tougher with more people mining and pre set diminishing returns...don't wait!

What happen to burstcoin? last I check I remember the price to be much higher. Anybody can update me?

With the recent jump in BTC, BURST has pulled back a bit.  Community is still growing, thousands of new wallets being opened every month, devs have a bunch of stuff in the pipeline...personally I think it's a great time to buy.  With the uniqueness of BURST and the green/eco friendly HDD mining I really think it's going to take off.

There are three threads about Burst here,I don't if this is a strategy of the dev team but it's a paying off, people are now getting it's attention, people should get into Burst now this is indeed eco friendly and every one can mine it,winder what will happen if those large chinese miners shift to Burst .

Oh my has time flown in the crypto world, it felt like not so long ago that HDD mining with Burst was released when actually it has been just over 2 years since its inception Shocked

Good to see this kicking along still with a community by its side, the way it mines is pretty interesting since it is away from the norm.

can someone please tell me the most efficient way of plotting burst?

also how much power does it actually use

GPU plotting is the fastest
Energy for plotting depends on your GPU and PC set up
For mining almost nothing, because once the HDD are plotted, you need just the HDD to be on

so is the best way to build a rig with heaps of storage space? is it viable?

It is what I am doing!!
check here for more infos if interested:

Hello Burst people.
I read on the website that you have  2027 full nodes, which I find hard to believe.
But, I'm open minded  Smiley

Can someone explain how this happened and how it can be verified?

Thanks

If you don't have your answer yet go to the main BURST website/forums and I'm sure someone can help you there.   http://web.burst-team.us

IIRC BURST kicked out the hallmark node out of its code when it forked from NXT. All wallets which are synced and open act as full nodes, relaying transactions. Burstdev talked about it at one point, but I'd be damned if I remember exactly Cheesy
