I switched to pool two days ago then just went back to solo.  I'm now also noticing that my deadline is 100 times I submit to pool.  This doesn't make sense.  I'll continue to solo to see if this is just pure luck.

The deadline is high in solo could be because the miner is not reading all plot properly. Deadline is a product of existing plot. I obverse for many blocks and the deadline for solo doesn't not make any sense. It is as though the plot is less than 50 gb. The deadline is way too high.

Something broke when switched to pool then?? Might as well switch back to pool...
should nothing broken, because plots are only read by miner, they won't be written when mining, the reason is difficulty is higher then before

There is no such thing as difficulty on burst because deadline is based on lowest. Having many miner does not change the result of your deadline. It is who has the lowest. This rule doesn't change. There is no such thing as difficulty. Something is broken from pool back to solo.
no, there did has difficulty, i remember that the difficulty can be adjust by the current situation, so, when the first week, you will easily see the deadline < 10000, but now, even in the pool, you can hardly see < 75000,.all your miners calculate the deadline is based on the difficult and your nonce, your nonce is not change, but difficulty change

As I understand it deadline should be same whether solo or pool.  Anyway I only see the problem on one PC.  Just checked another PC and deadline is as expected so I think I just did something wrong.

Guys, someone made a forum just for us. Why don't we start moving discussions there where they can be split by categories.
http://burstforum.com
Instead of just flooding one single thread, we can flood an entire forum Smiley
Just kidding.
The idea is that it will be easier to follow since all the problems will be in the support area, announcements in announcements and so on. People would find things a lot easier.

I just tested a HD7730 1GB, I sold most of my GCN gpu mining cards and only have a 7970 left, the gpu plotter works on it. Stagger size of 512 with 64 threads doing 2048 nonce/min. So, for sure GCN cards work on this gpu plotter with AMD 13.9 driver/2.9.1 APP SDK and maybe the 750/750ti. I guess I better get another HD7950/7970 or 280x/290/290x. lol

Update: Make sure to turn of all the graphical Windows stuff, that tends to crash the driver with GCN cards with low vram. Guess anything less than 2GB, ie. 1GB cards.

so everyone who has nonce 1-1,000,000 will have a different deadline right?

Did you use a different address for each drive?

my question was if everyone had a different address but used the same nonce will the deadline be random or because i started a 0 like everyone else were all having the same dealine?

my wallet has a dozen harddrives from 0- to like 50million~
this too is something i wondered. so judging on whats been said already running 1 hdd theoretically as 5 plots nonce 0-100 101-200 201-300 3001-400 401-500 although correct no overlaps would not be as good as say 100 random small plot files of say nonce 0-10 50-60 500-510 and so on totally random. (it was my thought the 0-100 was just "slots" in which a nonce was placed like aisles and shelf numbers in a warehouse.)

so if everyone starts at nonce 0 pretty much whoever gets further in the nonces will have different deadlines than everyone else or are they unique per account id?
they are unique per account id, when they submit the shares, they submit like, account_num:nounce, so, to the sever, all your miners submit the acount_num:nounce, so, no matter where your mine, diffierent miner or in different computer, all plots should not overlap, the reason i say they are unique because: when you solo, you will find there are mostly depends your lucky, for exsample, all of us start from 0, but if every one have 1T, if the nounce are the same, so every one will share the same deadline, that's impossible, because if nounce is same, then everyone's result are the same.everyone will get the same block

Got 3.4 TB I'm was able to get 3000 BURST per day now so at current rate of 0.00000400 BTC will be able to get 0.012 BTC per day. Profitable coin with little electric cost to mined.

In that version the nonce.cl file is in the Kernel folder...

OK, I used the wrong command to extract the archive ("7z e ").  The cd command is not necessary.
cool. any idea on the ">>> Unable to open the source file" ??

i too just switched to solo mining,

i thought you used to see a deadline while solo mining? what happened to it?

i tried solo but the deadline i submitted is like 10 - 100 times i submit to pool. I tried it for around 10 blocks but the deadline is really high. Not sure if solo can read plot properly. i went back to pool.

Yeah they were the same damn it.  I started the 2nd drive off where the first one would of left it off so no overlap there.  The 3rd drive I had no idea where the nonces would of left off so hopefully I picked a high enough number to start so they don't overlap
