It is really good to see new thread from new dev (not really new dev, maybe I should said current dev). There are too many broken links in the old thread. Hope this good start will help to boost burst price again.

it's hard to say which assets are good and which is bad assets, because the explosion AE has been hit, and no real recovery, because a lot of people, including myself has lost a large sum of capital investment assets.I have been in such an asset, as many people think they are good long-term investments, but they have become a big loss.I have learned my lesson, and now it is only my explosion, just waiting for the price to rise again, trying to recover some of my losses from the Burstcoin .

Good night at all I could not find the information ... but it is possible to undermine the pos. %? Annual or monthly?

I have no clue what it is that you're even asking, Burst is not a PoS coin you can only mine it with plotted hard drives.

Coinmarketcap BURST coin entry, the website it links to is gone...

Is BURST a dead project? Taken over from original devs?
any feedback about this guys I'm not sure and I'm also interested if there's already any take over?

BURST was taken over ages ago and development is continuing. You are both already posting in one of the "new" threads.

I believe there's a lot of development going on behind the scenes right now hopefully Burst gets a makeover and helps the price.

News Announcement 8/15 - Burst-Team Infrastructure Status

The burst-team infrastructure including forums, pools, and associated websites are expected to be offline until Friday or Saturday, August 18/19.
There was another DoS attack that has forced the hardware to be relocated,
and these dates are the expected time that they will be coming back online...subject to shipping delivery.

Good to see at least they have notification page up, i thought even domain is also gone

what is the best asset we should buy ??

mining isn,t that good and pools down lots of time ,,, so i,m thinking of new way of investing in burst assets ?
any ideas about good TESTED assets ?    with examples of revenue ?

To be honest its hard to say which assets are good and which are bad because the Burst AE has taken a hit and hasn't really recovered as a lot of people including myself have lost a fair bit of money investing into assets. I got caught up in the assets like so many people thinking that they were good long term investments but they have turned out to be a big loss. I have since learned my lesson and now only mine Burst and just waiting for when the price goes up again to try and get back some of my losses from the assets.

I agree on mining difficulties and pools down all the time, despite of having 30 TB plotting, i dont see point of doing this, in fact moving to storj slowely and that seems more profitable even with very less space. Also, official website still not back since burst attack and now it is pointing to some new domain, not sure if network is fully recovered yet or still under some attack. Also, I do not see such buzz about burst now and dev also not that active in providing updates

Too weird to live, too rare to die ;)

I've also never gotten GPU plotting to work at all.

You can try gpuPlotGenerator. It uses gpu,and creates optimised plots when in "direct" mode. Wink

I HAVE tried gpuPlotGenerator and have "never gotten GPU plotting to work at all."

Maby this can help? Smiley

I've NEVER needed more than 5 days to plot a Seagate Archive 8TB - and that's on my GAMING machine that I don't have available TO plot on a "all the time" basis, and running XPlotter on the CPU.
If it's taking you 15 days, you're doing something wrong.
1) Open the wallet, press "Plot", press plot with CPU. What can be wrong?
2) Good to hear that, but you are the only one, i think. 8Tb Seagate Archive drives can be plotted much faster with GPU and buffered plotting. But with CPU (or GPU direct) I've tested on several PC - the plotting speed is only about 5-6Mb/s. Any other drive is much faster.

I've never gotten that AIO wallet to WORK.
I've also never gotten GPU plotting to work at all.
XPlotter, on the other hand, works well once I figured it out - not quite as fast as WPlotter BUT WPlotter doesn't plot optimised files.

Are you perhaps plotting to a USB-connected drive? For direct plotting, that IS a ton slower - which is not the fault of the DRIVE.

You can try gpuPlotGenerator. It uses gpu,and creates optimised plots when in "direct" mode. Wink

You are now discovering one of the reasons to run your own LOCAL wallet.

Another one would be avoiding getting key logged, having your passphrase stolen and then having to replot all your Hard drives.
