burstcoin-1.2.9

 Crashes with no error message when the "experimental" GPU accel option is enabled, after about 30 seconds of "hang".

 Doesn't matter what "manual" settings I use, or if I use the "auto" option.

Sad to hear that, you could try reduce this default values
(guess you ensured that not cpu was used for openCL)
Code:
burst.oclMemPercent=50
burst.oclHashesPerEnqueue=1000

 AMD CPUs support OpenCL - I run JMiner on quite a few of them.

 Turns out a complete resynch from scratch only took 10-12 hours or so even without the OpenCL stuff though.

can someone please post their  configuration for solo minining with Blago`s miner.
I`m bit confused,because I have changed my reward recipient,but when I start miner it is not working.
I have mined on pool before attack an everything was smooth.

Make sure your passphrase's text file is included in the miner's folder, it should look something like this:

Code:
{
   "Mode" : "solo",

   "Server" : "localhost",
   "Port": "8125",

   "UpdaterAddr" : "localhost",
   "UpdaterPort": "8125",

   "InfoAddr" : "localhost",
   "InfoPort": "8125",

   "EnableProxy": false,
   "ProxyPort": 8126,

A link to download blockchain would be great instead of waiting for hours.

HowTo use OpenCL/GPU for accelerated snyc. with blockchain

Open /conf folder within your burstcoin directory ...
Code:
 ../burstcoin-1.2.9/conf
Create a new file with name:
'nxt.properties'. (All settings made in there will overwrite the default.)

Open 'nxt.properties' in a text editor and add the following:

Code:
burst.oclVerify=true

The wallet will try to auto-detect the openCL device and platform.
If auto-detect does not work for you, configure it manually by adding

Code:
burst.oclAuto=false
burst.oclPlatform=0
burst.oclDevice=0

to 'nxt.properties', specify the platform and device you would like to use.
With a quite good GPU and depending on bandwidth, this will enable you to complete sync from block 0 within 1-2 hours!

https://www.burst-team.us/ still offline.

Is there is a solution for new memebers to start mining?

You will find all help and needed software here i guess:

Notice: Before you do anything, sync your clock. Burst uses your computer clock's time, and having the time off too much could cause you to reject legit blocks, or miss out on blocks you could have mined. On linux "sudo ntpd -gq", on windows go to change date/time, and go to internet time and tell it to sync with a time server. |

I wish I could help guys but just like you I'm also having these problems. I'm only reporting on what I have read on Burst Nation and from Lex's write up  on Steem. I'm just hoping that it won't last for much longer as we need a working network again asap which I'm sure they are working on whoever the dev team is now as I'm not really sure who they are anymore.

I changed my local wallet to 1.29b and currently re sync with DB

Do you know why we can't register new member at burst nation? Seems like they have the most up to date Info. It says you have to register through steam first and after that there is a error on the registration page?

Also still looking for a couple of seed burst can anyone possibly send a couple coins

BURST-U9XA-FGKP-377J-HB45N

Thanks.

No I'm not sure why you can't register on Burst Nation, yes they are up to date on what is currently going on. I just tried to register an account on there and it looks like yes you must register through steam so it must of changed since I joined because I didn't need to go through steam to sign up. Hopefully they fix the error for new members trying to sign up.

The reason why almost everything is down is because the blockchain has forked several times and is on about 5 different chains. The network is in a complete mess right now and it's set to continue like this for at least another week as someone has spammed the network with 300,000 messages which is clogging up the blockchain. So just be patient and hopefully it all gets fixed soon.

and which pool is good for 1.2 tb? Thanks community

For the moment I prefer http://pool.burstmining.club:8124/ but don't expect to much with only 1.2TB for Burst.
I have sold most of my HDDs and stay only with 14,5TB for the moment. The past daily payments have been in range 25-120 Burst

We also mine with this pool and currently we mine with 23TB and get around 50 to 150 Burst per day and the average for mining a block is around 7 to 10 days for us with this rig. This pool is almost at 800 miners so it is getting difficult to mine Burst now.
with the current value are you still getting good profits or you are in a break even status? still im not done trying setting up my mining system
as i only got 2TB and im not sure if its still getting somewhere to mine with burst or the difficulty will not allowed me to earn that much.

Burst mining is coming to its end, if you plan to mine with your own hardware than why not.. but do not buy other hdds only for burst... you'll probably never see the ROI

BURST mining will not end for quite some time, if your HDDs don't die within a year you will most likely ROI on them. Just don't expect it to happen overnight.

I think Burst mining will continue for a while longer but I must admit that it is getting harder for the smaller miner to make some money from mining Burst. I think minimum now would be 10+ TB and maybe even 20TB+ to make some decent amount on your investment. I agree that it won't happen overnight and that in the long term we should all make a profit as I'm also expecting the price to rise as well in the long term as Burst has the potential to be a 100 million marketcap coin.
