This coin was great while Nicehash was down, Whattomine listing it won't affect it.  They don't even list Nist5 coins in their main dashboard.

Hashrate ramped already up big time since the return of nicehash. The biggest of my cards I mined 2 weeks ago - no I would only mine 1/3 of what I got at the start Sad

Hi there, when BWK goes to other important exchanges? some predicitions... Smiley

Basically,  Bulwark is a shit clone with ZERO innovations or unique features to speak of. I challenge the team to prove otherwise.  Redesigning the reward mechanism is NOT innovation.  Unlikely to hit any other exchange other than craptopia and yobutt!

If those are your feelings after many hours spent reading our ANN, spending time in our community Discord, and carefully reviewing our whitepaper, then I would urge you not to invest in our project and find something more suitable to your needs.

My gawd!  Your whitepaper is one of the most full of fluff, rehashed, and nothing of substance document I must have read in the crypto-space.  At least try to write a document worthy of the current valuation.  Anyway, good job fooling your followers and masternode fanbois.  This is a short-term pump and dump scheme.  Nothing else.

You're more than entitled to your own opinion, which you've made painfully apparent. Nobody is asking or even attempting to convince you that you should invest in this project. Feel free to run along to one of the many other projects out there. We have no desire to take the time to "sell" you on our project. Our work will speak for itself over time.

They never even claimed to be unique, just to offer a solid coin with specific features.
There are literally hundred of coins out there much worse than this in every way.

If your newbie account has already spent so much time on this particular thread shit talking about it, there must be a reason.

I'm trying to understand what makes this coin unique over all the other coins. Can someone explain to me the value that is makes it unique???

Feel free to peruse our whitepaper on our website at https://www.bulwarkcrypto.com

this coin was very profitable to mine it a few weeks ago when it has started. even getting a masternode was pretty easy a while back

Challenge accepted.  Unique features and development are forthcoming, but require time.  We'd be happy to answer any specific questions you have in Discord if you're looking for more than a troll-podium.

Yes, they intentionally removed that functionality.

    Removed global masternode list

No reason to waste CPU cycles constantly updating a GUI list (and all the associated sanity checks that go along with it)
No reason to give a nice IP-sortable list to spoonfeed the skiddies on a good subnet to take down.
    Use RPC command listmasternodes instead

Hehe, I suppose any skiddie capable of taking down a subnet already knows how to get that list and sort it  Grin

And that gui list only gets updated when clicked on, so, I don't see the problem.

Whatever. The console command is good enough.

something is definitely happening. All the major pools today are hit by large influx of hash for 30 minutes which then disappears.
The difficulty rises during the 30 minutes, but when the hash disappears difficulty does not go down fast enough.

So smaller miners who stay on the pools are hurt bad, my mining return is very bad today.
Difficulty going up and down from 32000 to 42000 to 31000 within 30 minutes is not normal

If this continues BWK is no longer viable to mine. The algo seems not to adjust to hashrate peaks well.

Just look bsod.pw, umine.org and unimining.net. They cover around 80% of total hashrate but all 3 no blocks found last 20 minutes, just after a big hashrate peak.
Difficulty is now down from 42000 to 27000, soon we see the hashrate spike again. (nethash down from 1.8 Th/s to 970 Gh/s)

That's just how difficulty retargeting works. Short of being able to adjust difficulty mid-block, massive hash spikes are going to slow things down briefly considering a significantly lower amount of hash is attempting to solve for a block with a significantly higher difficulty. Once that block is hit, difficulty retargets to normalize block times until the next massive hash spike comes in and drives difficulty up again.

Another way to help this would be to spread the hash rates around more evenly so they're not localized in one or two pools. This, unfortunately, is something entirely beyond our control. People are going to go flock to the pools with the highest hash rates no matter what evidence you give them that it's healthier for mining as a whole either way.

Well profit switching pools like Nicehash and Zpool (and large private mining farms) exploit this mechanism. They wait until difficulty is down, redirect there massive hashpower to the coin and quickly mine a few. Then when difficulty rises they move over to a different coin. Other normal 1:1 pools are hurt by this because their mining result changes up and down since they ride out the high difficulty phase of the same coins (the auto switching miners are long gone by then).

I tested both on bsod.pw and zpool mining the same neoscrypt coin. The amount I make a day on Zpool is much larger. All profit calculators are wrong because difficulty changes up and down by more then 50%.

The Bulwark team is committed to the long-term health and stability of this project.  Major exchanges want to see novel features and longevity from non-ICO coins prior to listing.  Bulwark is focused on  executing in both of those areas and we are not actively pursuing additional exchange listings at this time.

Hm, alright, thanks for the update

How come in the masternodes tab I cannot see any other existing masternodes?
That is standard with all similar wallets. Was that functionality intentionally removed?

Also what is the default port the masternode should be configured with?

I looked at the masternode setup blog entry from the official site but it seems not to go into detail about some things.
Is there another guide around? I'd like one preferably with examples of what each conf file should look like for both the local and the remote node

Thanks

default masternode port is 52543
