give us any hints what is going on now.

You all know we are waiting for a reply from Mintpal lol

We need to get the full details before we move forward.

Other than that the game is continuing to be developed in the mean time.

I must say it is good to see a lot of you guys here showing support towards the board at the present time.

It is appreciated and drives us on even more.

Well I am a noob in tech side of crypto...

Can anyone tell me how the attack is detected in blockchain explorer? http://nc2chain.info/address/CT6hK54g9MT3gnK72YGWgVYNUEqQu56HCc

Is it address that is generated in Mintpal?

I don't see 28mlj coin output to other addresses, except in one transaction to address, where 1.66mlj coins are still unspent.

Other recent transactions outputs are to the same address.

Sorry for my stupidity!  Tongue

final balance: 0

empty wallet now.

we are doomed. double spend twice and let thief walking through.

But there are transactions to itself. I don't see and can't track where else those looping 1,66mlj coins gone except the address in this transaction:  http://nc2chain.info/address/CXAgi7SkqrZine7qYZvCAQahzLZHEwBMCh

which is only 1.66mlj and unspent so far.

So... where is the point, where we can see the attack. i am just searching for an answers to understand blockchain more.

Even FAC survived from attack and spiked to 6k. I would like to believe that NC2 is stronger survivor.

Actually, my idea could work if you consider c2 rising in value and use minted c2 to repay lost c2 in previous buy value (btc). But that will sting like fuck.

Remove OFFENDER from BlOCKCHAIN and make it 32 million coins only

When Coin2 PoW to PoS, we were so sure there wouldn't be any foolish attack, even if the only looser is the attacker. I think that I am naive to believe the technical excel of PoS.
Frankly, the 500mil coin2 proposal will make C2 go the same path of PND coin.
I prefer to wait to track down the trail all the way to hunt down perpectuator.

Remove OFFENDER from BlOCKCHAIN and make it 32 million coins only

I think the main problem is the coins have been liquidated into BTC and those coins are now short on mintpals side.
This is why I can not withdraw my 2.12 million coins. They are being held to compensate for mintpals loss.

Iam thinking what is done is done, the attacker got what ever coins he could and exchanged them into BTC and then withdrew his BTC off the exchange. Thats what I would of done.

With that being said, he won. Does that mean we mintpal holders loose. As much as I do not like this option. can we try to cancel any coins still held by the attacker (which may be none) and increase the supply to account for the amount the attacker double spent.

The developer also holds a approx 10mill coins for paying for development etc. Could these be used to help offset mintpals short position.

Simples. Find out how many were short by, fork the coin to fix vulnerability and change interest rates from 30% to 10+20% (or whatever), 20% from minting + 50% of trading profits refill mintpal c2 holders.

Unless were short by 28 million, then we might need to look for another solution. How many are we short?

Could be considered a community tax to pay for dmg of attack.

I just would like to say a few things.

1st - I have 2.12 million coins on mintpal which are locked and can not be withdrawn.

2nd - I am a original believer and invested in this coin and community. I hope I am not forgotten.

3rd - I hope the resolution coming forward will help protect early investors like me and others I have brought into this coin

Hi, a small question. When I open the wallet icon from the system tray application is transparent and cannot be seen.
Is it possible to fix this little problem?

^it's people like this guy causing price to fall, and not someone dumping large amount
what do you not understand? you bought high.

most of the people whining have less than .50 btc invested. maybe even less than .10

The price spike up to 2000 was whale manipulation. All coins are manipulated. Prices dont move on their own. You are naive if you don't see that.
The price decline is because no one is holding the price up with massive walls anymore, but i know people are planning on pumping this back up again.

However, this last price drop from 6oo down to 300 was all you the stupid trolls on here spreading FUD for no reason causing people with small to large amount of coins to sell.

If you have coins invested and you ever want to see this coin back in the 1000s, your best option is to shut the fuck up and let the devs do their work. Spreading false rumors will only create more panic selling, destroy the community, and no one will ever want to support this again

look at the volume, this dumped wasn`t due to panic sold..that's really a guy or a group dumping it for a purpose

SUGGESTION FROM THE COIN2TALK TROLL BOX THAT I WOULD LIKE TO EXPAND ON.

Everybody with a relatively significant number of coins (Say 50,000 or 100,000) take a screen shot of your wallet and previous transactions covering the double spend period.

Apply for your coins by some sort of system to be decided (email with your wallet address or PM to board members on here)

Wallet addresses and previous transactions can then be verified as authentic.

Anyone under the pre determined amount receives their coins would not have to apply. The amount is set to make it almost impossible for the scammer to create hundreds or thousands of accounts/addresses to receive all their 28 million coins back.

It's just an idea at the moment and I've got to run now as I'm going away for a few days.

Sure this process would take a long time and still needs some thought but what does everyone think?

Labour intensive. Find scam wallets, move all coins to exchange, swap coin. Scam wallets obviously barred from this, problem solved.

I agree it is labour intensive. How do we know we can isolate the scam wallet. Obviously your solution is the better one and much simpler but if we can't isolate the scammer's wallet then we need another solution.

I was under the impression that we can't ring fence the scammer's wallet??

Just in case we go this route, screenshots of the exchange will do?
