Have you guys thought about what you're going to do for the music?
I'm an aspiring composer and would gladly try and come up with some tracks, but I need to get a feeling of the atmosphere you are trying to create.
Think metal music for the game soundtrack
ah. Metal music isn't my forte at the moment since I don't play the guitar and don't have the equipment to record live instruments in high audio quality (though I do enjoy some heavy artists like Mastodon, Meshuggah).
My stuff is more electronica / soundtrack, feel free to check it out:
https://soundcloud.com/eternalwakingIf this was a space shooter like Mass Effect, I think I could make some more fitting cinematic tracks (suitable for a trailer or cut scene), check out "You Only YOLO Once," "Neuromancer," "Tannhauser Gate."
"The Warbler From Arambol" might be the closest thing I've tried to make to rock music, but it's like a fusion of trance and progressive rock. I play the drums but don't have a way to record live drums so the closest I can come to real sounding drums is with a Digital Audio Workstation program.
I'm mostly better at making downtempo electronica stuff. But feel free to give it a listen and see if there's anything that you like.
