Hey guys,

I'm thinking of doing some CACH mining but having trouble finding good estimates for profitability.  What kind of returns are you guys getting (per MHs) and how does the whole nfactor thing affect profitability?

1 MH/s currently yields 6.734 CACH/day.
6.734 CACH = 0.0404 BTC = 1.65726 LTC = 22.63 USD at current rate.

The nfactor decreases hashrate due to higher memory requirements as far as I understand that.
Next two nfactors will kill GPU mining completely.

Even at Intensity 12 HW Errors rack up just not as fast.

Still can only get share difficulty below 0, so there's no way I can tell if I am getting any WU/m, it's Accepting shares but all are /0

Can I force a higher difficulty, or would mining on a normal pool change this...
there is no startum+tcp:// available, you might want to change to http://

which miner are you using? I 12 is the maximum that works for me. Some cards even only work with I 11.

Does P2P Pool support stratum?

No, Longpoll only.

Connected to P2Pool, has a difficulty of 0?

It is accepting shares 77/0, 3/0, 11/0, but no WU/m, no A, no R, just increasing HW

How can I verify my P2Pool shares are being submitted?

My address does not show up on Payouts section of P2Pool.

Why won't this work? I'm using cgminer 3.7.2, but I tried it in 3.7.3 and ybcminer, it just won't work Sad can anyone help me set this up? (I'm running a 7950)

EDIT: I thought I had downloaded the sj version of cgminer, but I accidentally clicked on the mp version instead.

EDIT#2: So my computer runs it well for about 5 minutes, but then it crashes, every time I run it. The driver crashes, and I can't mine cachecoins using the sj cgminer. Can anyone help with this problem?

How do you determine the proper timestamp and why wouldn't the correct one be listed in the OP?

Its pretty well laid out for you in the How to Mine section of the op

Anyway we can get http://pool.cachecoin.net?  I have coins to withdraw  Cry

There was some issue with stuck cronjobs few days ago, but the second pool is now running fine again and the monitoring was improved, so if such thing happens again (unlikely, though), it will be noticed much sooner Smiley

If you have any problems with the pool, write a PM - at worst case I can send you your coins manually Smiley

Sorry for the newbie questions....

In the start there is a Cach wallet config...
I have tryed google and the forum here, but cant see what i have to use that for... Smiley

Code:
rpcuser=
rpcpassword=
rpcallowip=192.168.*.*
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
server=1
rpcport=2224
addnode=207.30.158.106
addnode=78.46.66.139

That is mostly useful if you are solo mining or using the wallet for other services. Normally you wouldn't need a config for cachecoin

Heh I appreciate your enthusiasm. I meant someone that is not the one that did the compile. Smiley

Jasin, I have been using this for the past 10 days or so.

http://rmdavidson.blogspot.com/2014/01/cgminer-372-scrypt-jane-patch-windows.html

Run it with the following args. Otherwise it works exactly like cgminer.

Code:
--scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388949883

1387769316 is not the right timestamp.

How do you determine the proper timestamp and why wouldn't the correct one be listed in the OP?

The timestamp is the time genesis block was mined. You don't need to determine it. It's there in the OP

I have 20 coins in my wallet and it open 24/7 for 8 dayes and no POS

Am i doing anything wrong?

First time for me for somthing like this.

Windows version 5.0.0

Did you set a password, if not, then you're ok. It can take much more than 8 days. I had one after 3 weeks. 7 days is the minimum

Ok thx, it was just my understanding that it was after 7 dayes....
I did not set any password Smiley

It is not strictly after 7 days. There's a difficulty for stake too. But the luck for everyone is the same for PoS, no matter of your hardware. The longer the stake takes, the more the reward Wink
