No good deed goes unpunished
A few wallets I tried lately seem to suffer sync issues. Each one was fixed by opening and closing it several times with one PC restart.

When Cryptsy finally processes my 377k Doge, I can buy more CASH.

Downloaded the wallet yesterday but won't sync any got a few addnodes .. s for me?

addnode= 206.72.206.148
addnode=113.162.144.189
addnode=88.193.92.2
addnode=94.22.75.142

 These are what I use.

If all else fails, try backing up the wallet.dat file, and deleting everything else from the directory.  Then re launch the wallet.

lol ive been wanting to upgrade to linux but upgrades = mining downtime. will most likely go for it with my next build tho.

Iv been using linux for about 10 years but im just using SMOS (http://www.smos-linux.org/installation/) for mining, its a complete linux build on a usb stick and you just add your card configuration and pool host details. simple as pie.
So i have 5 motherboards, 15 gpu's and 5 memory sticks all on a shelf as a 10,000kh/s rig and it took only a few hours to get running.

was it worth it financially ? hard to tell so far Smiley but its fun!

Ditto, but back to BAMT and on 1.3 myself (R9s).
Looking forward to 1.5

Tried SMOS, but had a few issues I'm not having back on BAMT.
If you use smos be sure to '#' the donation section in 'crontab -e' after a few days. They deserve something but not 15 minutes everyday forever.

cool yeah. also one of them is for a few r9's on my shelf too.
still waiting for the day it all pays for itself though hah! Smiley

Actually its CASH.conf right now and seems to be working

weird man, mine is and always has been cashcoin.conf and have never had any sync errors except when i needed to update client.

Grep'ing the source code (text search in the source code files) from github, outputs;

grep -R Cash.conf *

Binary file Cashd matches
init.cpp:        "  -conf=           " + _("Specify configuration file (default: Cash.conf)") + "\n" +
Binary file obj/util.o matches
Binary file obj/init.o matches
qt/locale/bitcoin_ru.ts:        Specify configuration file (default: Cash.conf)
qt/locale/bitcoin_ru.ts:        Укaзaть кoнфигypaциoнный фaйл (пo yмoлчaнию: Cash.conf)
qt/locale/bitcoin_en.ts:        Specify configuration file (default: Cash.conf)
qt/locale/bitcoin_en.ts:        Specify configuration file (default: Cash.conf)
Binary file qt/locale/bitcoin_en.qm matches
Binary file qt/locale/bitcoin_ru.qm matches
util.cpp:    boost::filesystem::path pathConfigFile(GetArg("-conf", "Cash.conf"));

Lots of references to the code looking for "Cash.conf", and ZERO refernces in the source to "cashcoin.conf".

So i am guessing your file of "cashcoin.conf" was never actually being used Smiley

*edit : and i hazard a further guess that the reason "CASH.conf" worked for Balling is because windows does not care about case sensitivity in this case ... just a guess.

well i have 8 active connections and fully synced to the network so your guess is as good as mine? im on windows though and always just name my confs after the qt file. usually takes less than 2 minutes for a new coin wallet setup.

Edit: ok, i think it may have been cash.conf when i first installed but i was getting trouble syncing, so i changed it to cashcoin.conf and when i relaunched, it synced.. so i never bothered to change it. so i guess once the client gets the peers it doesnt really utilize the conf file anymore?

Baller: thanks dude, cashcoin received. at least ur up and running now. had to go run an errand. i really thought ud be sorted before i got back lol

yeah cool, i dont really know how it works, for all i know that source i checked is 'just for linux' and does not account for winblows at all Smiley

though when installing any wallet (from like 50 different alt's) on my linux server, i never once had to 'add nodes' to any conf, they were found automatically without it. I think you only need that to speed up the seeding process if there are not enough/many peers out there already but it somehow manages to hookup with the peer network all by itself. So it could be the cashcoin.conf was never looked at and it all linked up like mine does, or not, who knows ... im not a coin dev, just here for the fun of it and a bit of mining/trading which is a good learning process, its like a real-life iphone mania game Smiley addictive.

For risk takers, get CASH now really .. price is low below 2500 for what it could be and with issues behind it and once dev gets round to sorting the site, will be back above 5000.

Ofc I am biased as I bought 1 BTC worth from 2500-3500 and mined for a week with 2-7MH/s but can't see losing it within next month. Don't gamble with what you are not prepared to lose.

With price of BTC so low, not planning to spend any on $$$ purchases, so wait n see.

dont have to tell me twice, when cash drops i just buy more than i did at the higher price.  had some price traps/buy support at .00022 but they didnt connect... shucks!! lol it's possible we may never see .00022 again. i dont know but i think as it seems, the bots have left the building. trading looks very human now.

ppl shouldnt be worried about the price being so low. they should be glad atm because once it rises that will be the end of all chances to get cash so cheap.

Sorry guys and gals, been AWOL for a bit.

Now that the hash rate and Diff have fallen back down, I decided to go solo on this again.  ~ 1 hour later, Block found!  Very nice - 17.72 CASH.

Side note, I see a few people trash talking and hating on CASH, tell ya what, feel free to "donate" any cash balance you have to : EiAB4xPg9swsA48WbLeown1mHerUTFznw5  I promise to put them to good use....   Grin

shiit why the hell price is so low ? ;o  Cry Cry

it was goooood time for shoping i buy for everything i got and now just w8 Tongue it will rise for sure Smiley

I get the feeling it was the big players who pushed CASH over 12 diff, that are just selling as either way they made a big profit. Rest of us, will have to hold and buy.
