Settings>options>network

connect through socks proxy was checked I unchecked it and left map port using upnp checked, restarted wallet, and at least synchronizing with network comes up with 19494 blocks remaining. I have 1 connection working  spuradically.

that's a start! hopefully your connections will pick up

do you know what I need to type into debug to get you some nodes?

Ok I have allowed full access to CASH-QT.exe in windows firewall, for good measure I even disabled windows firewall and restarted my computer. my config is now called Cash.conf a copy is placed in the Cash-windows-qt-master folder on my desktop and in appdata in the cash folder.

Config is exactly like this:

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=192.168.0.1
rpcport=3491
daemon=1
server=1
noirc=1
addnode=206.72.206.148
addnode=113.162.144.189
addnode=88.193.92.2
addnode=94.22.75.142

My folders look like this

I even run CASH-qt.exe as administrator BUT STILL NOTHING!

wallet info

Final bounty is 10 cash coins, I really need this resolved

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=xxxxx
rpcallowip=192.168.*.*
rpcport=3491
daemon=1
server=1
addnode=206.72.206.148
addnode=113.162.144.189
addnode=88.193.92.2
addnode=94.22.75.142

this is my conf file

maybe try deleting yours, making a new one, copy and paste mine into your new one, change the username and password, and make sure the file is cash.conf (and make sure you are changing it to all files when you save it, I have saved it as a txt file before my accident)

close your qt and restart it

So Cryptsy taking advantage of us that we don't have a working block explorer?  They want the transaction ID number.  The only way I know to get it is looking up my address and seeing it from there.

if it is for sending from your wallet to crypsty you can double click on the entry in your wallet to get transaction id

All this time I just hoovered over it and thought that was all the information I could get ( ie confirmations )

Thank you very much for the reply, that works.

renamed it to cashcoin.conf I placed it in both folders yes and restarted no go

Now capitalizing C in cashcoin to see if it helps, I cannot believe I have to go through all this crap when all my other wallets work.

we can't help you if you don't answer our questions  Smiley

i dont know what is wrong with yours, its working for me and i guess most everyone else, so just trying to figure out what you might be doing wrong.

note : on my system (linux), it is Cash.conf not cash.conf and certainly not cashcoin.conf or Cashcoin.conf. so if you were trying those steps on my machine it wouldnt work either, as the name is wrong. maybe this helps, maybe not, dunno.
what is the folder called in your home path ? Cashcoin, cashcoin, cash, Cash or otherwise? name the .conf file exactly the same as the folder.

windows firewall blocking ports?

Could you post up your config? my appdata folder does not have one, thanks

3 cash reward for working config

here, try this

rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=192.168.*.*
rpcport=3491
daemon=1
server=1
noirc=1
addnode=206.72.206.148
addnode=113.162.144.189
addnode=88.193.92.2
addnode=94.22.75.142

Created a new text document copy pasted your config named it cash.conf placed a copy in the cash appdata folder and placed another in the cash-windows-qt-master folder on my desktop,
ran the cash-qt.exe from the cash-windows-qt-master and there it sits '0 active connections to cash network'

Bounty up to 5 cash for helping me get my wallet synced, this is really pissing me off

I have the same config

Have you called it cash.conf  ?

Have you put it in your roaming/cash folder?

I'v noted on Linux atleast it must be Cash.conf with a capital C. probably doesnt matter on winblows.
