I have been mining to keep the network alive. I'm still hoping someone will resurrect it. Out of all the celebrity's out there I am sure Stephen Colbert would actually go along with the coin and not sue to have it removed. It's too bad that the dev let the coin die this way. Well, it's still not completely dead. I will keep running an ASIC on it just in case.
Yup, I still drop a little hashing power at this once in a while. Really low difficulty and it helps keep the network alive. This is a coin that is ripe for resurrecting if the right people felt inclined to do so.

I have had a deposit pending on Poloniex since May 18, their wallet is not working. Funny thing is my wallet is working fine and has been for a while now.
Any suggestions on where to go to get a wallet? I think I just moved them from exchange to exchange and never actually downloaded a wallet. Now that my coins are free from coinjail the one wallet link I can find is dead.

Sweet me too, mine have been sitting there for 2 months.
I am thinking this coin still has a shot even without Poloniex.. It just has to survive long enough for Colbert's new show to start, then there's a good chance of renewed interest.

Poloniex is delisting Colbert Coin. Someone bought 10 BTC and a 37BTC worth 2 days in a 6 week period. Obviously some whale or trust-fund Colbert fan was blindly buying them up every few weeks. Odd story with this coin. It becomes undead randomly. Without an exchange it will likely die. I got an old cubeminer on it for shits and giggles at this point. Not much else I would use the miner for. I know, mining near dead coins is a fools folly. Thing is, this coin has been super profitable for me after those two big buy ups.

Frustrating is holding a bag for months and then selling at 6000 a day before a whale buys 37 BTC worth up to 73000. Sold 1k of them. If Colbert does give this thing a bump afterall I will be drowning in tears. LOL, not really. I still have a few hundred of them.

It's pretty frustrating when an exchange can not get their shit together and fix a wallet issue for a month and a half. Yet my 2 computers are running CC just fine.

On Poloniex it has been showing 2 of 15 confirmations since I sent them on May 18th!
And they will not answer my ticket. I even offered to upload the blockchain for them so they could download it and maybe fix the issue they are having but still no response.

iGotSpots, there seems to be interest in this coin still, how about updating the code so that Poloniex can sync their wallet? You may be able to save this coin after all. I mean Stephan Colbert is pretty much an icon here in the USA and I think the coin could do well with a little effort put into it. Hell, if you even tried a little he may notice it and say something about it on his show.
