Hye doug. Im one of your member in jd. It was a very good experient in your site for awhile. But now i have some issue about the old jd clam adress that i use to claim on freebitcoin. Ive been using it for months now. And i will losing my refferals for that. I dont know how to change to the new one without losing my refferal. It more like a passive income to me now. Now i have no idea to solve this problem. Any suggestion would be nice.
Which address are you talking about in particular? I can ask Kef to update his records.
I believe your old affiliates if you used Just-Dice are auto transferred into your new JD address.
If you used a different address. You'll need to login to your account and go under "My Owned Addresses". You then need to sign your address to show proof of ownership & those payments will be forwarded.
Last I heard that was all updated and done.
Soon all JD stuff related to FreeBitcoins will be offsite as well to help prevent #CLAMSPAM on the blockchain.

I just tried to follow the instructions and downloaded the wallet.
Put the bootstrap.dat file in appdata folder and the blockchain loaded up to 2 weeks behind.
Now it says syncing but it doesnt change anymore. So i am at 2 weeks for more than 24hours.
Any help?

You need to put the bootstrap.dat file in the same folder as CLAM's wallet.dat file. I think it's in a subfolder of appdata on Windows, but I forget.

I was trying to make a joke. Not a very good one, sorry.
The basis of the joke is that whether the site is a scam or not they are likely to be allowing withdrawals at first and so your experience doesn't really help us know anything about them. But you're right, the joke didn't work.

I own 26000 CLAMs. That's 1.17% of the total active supply. There are quite a lot of people with more than me. I'm not sure what makes you think I own more than that.

How would I have taken a loss when some whale sold a bunch of CLAMs to some other people? Depending on when you're talking about I may have bought some cheap coins and sold them later at a profit, but I don't remember taking a loss from any such trade.
I've never heard of cellulite coin and don't see the relevance to CLAM.

Where do you put the `clam.conf` file? I put it in AppData/Clam/ next to the other stuff, but I'm not sure my settings are changing?

You need to put it in the same place as the CLAM wallet.dat wallet file, wherever that happens to be on your OS.
Try adding in:

then restarting. Does it fail to connect to any peers then? It should, since that line means "don't connect to any peers except for yourself". Then take that line out again, restart again, and check that it is finding peers again.

Since Doge has like 6000 x more coins than BTC isn't this distribution flawed?

The number of coins doesn't mater, it's the number of addresses that were in use.

So since nobody knew this in adcanve this seems legit. but this could actually been abused , then this is a big issue as well, since there is no money behind address creation.
The addresses had to have a non-trivial amount. The exact amount is either in the op or on the website, or somewhere in this thread.

A: Dooglus does not own 100%.
B: Just-Dice.com doesn't have 100% of the CLAMS either. At the time of this post JD has 53.97%, at one point this was getting closer to 80%. My goal has always been for JD to have 20-30% of the O/S and for the other chunks be divided between 6 other major separate services.
