He usually updates it about once a month.

thus clams can be found only :
-BTC , LTC and DOGECOINS ?? ore are there more coins who has secretly clams ?

That is correct, CLAM was distributed at launch to all over dust balance holding addresses of BTC, LTC and DOGE.
At the time, those were by far the largest networks/projects and no additional networks got a distribution.

If you had some CLAM and are looking to stake, you do indeed need to sync the client all of the way.

You only need to sync past block 10k to see if you have any CLAM from the dogecoin wallet.
