Are CLAMs sent to every BTC/LTC/DOGE address that had some minimum coins? Or some get some don't.
What's the rule?

It was around a certain date only but I still cant get mine from my Multibit wallet
I know about the date and they were already distributed. What I meant was were CLAMs sent to each and every wallet? Or only to 30-50% or whatever the distribution rule is.

My personal wallet is Multibit too and I cannot recover them. I encounter an error. Will post back once I replicate it.

Many users have successfully claimed Multibit wallets, but the keys must be exported unencrypted (security of the system you are using is important, as always), in the right format.

They were sent to any address that had a balance above dust (.1 for doge, .0001 for btc and ltc) on may 12, 2014

This is not working for me why?
Just click file -> import wallet!
Then password, is that my bitcoin QT wallet pass?
and i get Error: Error parsing JSON:password
Just a guess, if a JSON parser is failing, maybe the deal is that you need quotes around your password.  This is only a guess.
Thanks for trying but that did not work, wonder what is fuking it up for me....

Yes, it isn't telling the passphrase is wrong; but that there is an error parsing what the interface pulls in.

Try using the console tab and the importwallet command.
Use "help" in the console to get information about the command for formatting.
Error: Please enter the wallet passphrase with walletpassphrase first. (code -13)
What?

Make sure you enter it into the console in the right format.

Code:
importwallet FULL_PATH_TO_WALLET.dat passphrase true

The website isn't perfect and needs a lot of work - I hope those in the community who have html, markdown, css, or js skills will band together to make the CLAM website the best in the crypto space.

How many CLAMs I shod have to start staking? What's the recommendation?

You can stake with 1 CLAM  Grin But as far as I know now, if you have 450 CLAM you would stake ± 1 CLAM a day.

1)does anyone know if you had BTC in an exchange would it be possible to ask the exchange to dig the CLAMs for you?

If you don't ask then the answer is always no.

Strongly recommend asking.

2)Is there any end date to dig CLAMs from your own wallet? (because I tried but it failed)

No, they never expire.

CLAMS are required to be online in order to stake though.

For the first time in a while there was a lot of "digging up of old CLAMs" last night (note the step up at the end of the red line):

See transaction [d1731070] for example.

It looks like most of the CLAMs were dug from an old DOGE wallet, from addresses like [DB4Yuty1] and [D7oFBuL8], with 7200 CLAMs ending up at [xJtwGGxj].

I dont care much i just needed one cold wallet so i can store 10 clams and forget about them.

Same as i did with some stellard and dash . I just like to have some amount of alt coin that i made money on , its for free and one day that coin might be worth so much more or nothing. So i like to keep some small amount of each on a paper wallet and forget about it Smiley .

The neat thing about https://dcpos.github.io/bip39/ is that you can use a single secret mnemonic to store all your altcoins, using the magic of BIP44.

It would be nice if it could generate QR codes for funding and spending from the offline addresses.
