Celebrate 5 years since the CloakCoin Genesis Block as Cloak celebrates its 5th Birthday!
How quickly time flies and what an incredible journey it has been. Our commitment to privacy has grown stronger with each block, our technology has evolved, and our community stuck with us through thick and thin.
On this momentous occasion, one might expect champagne and confetti all round for team Cloak. But the fact of the matter is, this milestone belongs to the community. The incredibly supportive, inspiring and thought provoking individuals that have believed in us and our vision.
As we careen toward a cashless society whereby each and every transaction will require permission from a 3rd party intermediary, the threat of surveillance capitalism threatens our right to privacy, for a human future.
Fortunately, a private, secure and untraceable cryptocurrency, such as CloakCoin provides a solid foundation to serve as a digital equivalent to cash. It is with great honour that we acknowledge this major milestone as one of the longest serving, privacy focused cryptocurrency projects in existence.
As a long running proof of stake network we pride ourselves on being one of the very few privacy projects with an auditable total money supply. Despite the ups and downs over the past five years, we’ve continued to remain focused and have broken through every barrier that stood in our way.

Well, CloakCoin team is still working hard on getting things back in order. CZ caused a real blow to CloakCoin's overall performance by de-listing it from Binance (which pretty much happened without any good reason(s)), even though this project was provided a "V-label" (the best possible label) by Binance's own research.

Am I the only one who's still able to deposit CLOAK into Binance wallet? It seems a bit strange - all other coins that were de-listed from Binance have now got their deposit addresses disabled, but it seems like CLOAK's deposit addresses are still working.

After much internal tweaking, revising and testing, Team Cloak is very excited to announce the first CloakCoin ENIGMA Competition!
WHAT IS ENIGMA?
ENIGMA is an off-blockchain decentralized payment system from the CloakCoin Project. ENIGMA runs on Cloak nodes along with CloakShield to provide peer to peer mixing, encryption, and onion routing. ENIGMA allows CloakCoins to be sent anonymously while avoiding the need to 'trust' other nodes not to steal funds or leak sensitive information.
ENIGMA guarantees fungibility, avoiding the chance of any coins being tainted, meaning all coins remain equal and interchangeable.

Is there some bad news surrounding CLOAK? It seems a good coin, but why the downtrend?
Probably still the effect of Binance delisting which is nonsense imo. As the market matures I think listing/delisting news won't have that much impact on the price.
