If you aren't, I'd rather get them back, than them get handed off to Judge haha.
Is that your way to say "thank you" by spitting on people face ?

Have some respect.

Nice to see Crest in the thread. Welcome back Crest. You are always missed.

1. I agree rewards need reduced. Phasing in the change is a good method.

2. We definitely need to keep the thread for the history. It would help
to have someone else able to make changes when Crest is not available.

3. I would be willing to help as needed.

Hey Crest, Welcome back. Smiley

Hey great to see you back as well!

I've updated the OP a bit, anything I need/should add?

Edit: I've added the paycongroup.slack.com to the OP

I can make the change to lower the POS rewards if everyone would like that.

What about the OP? I don't really want to create a new thread since it has so much history, what about giving access to someone?

I'm very happy to see that you're back!  Grin

Copy/pasted from https://paycongroup.slack.com from a couple weeks ago. Just some thoughts we were discussing

cryptohustler
I agree that the code is fine. I know there was discussion about changing the reward. In my opinion the high reward is what draws people to CON but the inflation does play a role in the value.

2:07 PM I actually like the reward structure the way it is. Cres had talked about increasing the rewards a while back, which I was against. I understood where he was coming from though. We never had much problem with the selling of newly created coins, only large holder liquidating their entire stash.

"if" we propose any changes, I believe they should be set for some time down the road. ie: if rewards were going to be reduced. There should be at least a couple months, for newer holders to get present rewards.
2:21
When CON first changed to 30con per block, I had thought a diminishing block reward might be nice. ie: 30-25-20 etc Never mentioned it to Cres though

I'm curious on the thoughts of others

Do you know if there is any way to transfer a thread to a different account? It would be weird having to give somebody else access to your main account.

If you have time, if you could add Sumo's PayCon website, and PayCon blackjack to OP, that would be really nice. The links are in my sig

Edit: I wrote this before reading Crests newest post above^^^Thanks for updating the OP

Hello, sorry for my absence but really just needed some time off. I would like to shift over some responsibilities to help keep CON moving so I can focus on other things but not be holding CON back. I still have the CON Dev fund which consists of 0.6 BTC and about 250k CON which I would like to pass over to someone to help keep it going.

Thanks for stopping by, It's really good to see you. I wish you had stopped by C-cex a little more the past few weeks, been a lot of profitable opportunities as of late. Grin

Some clarification, would be appreciated. You've been kinda leaving us in limbo for many months now.

Do you want any involvement with PayCon anymore, or not? Do you still want "some responsibilities", or none at all? Everybody here wants you involved, but it's your decision, and only you can make it.

I don't know if you even follow this thread any more and I haven't seen you on Slack since last September.........

I have a lot of respect for what you've done for PayCon, and don't blame you for getting burnt out on it, but the people here don't need false hope, they need honest answers.

If you want out of PayCon, you can send some of those CON to  PWNdc8kycSNjzRoGovQ3MH5bcptcDLbbLA That address should look familiar.

I sent to you 125k back in December, and another 20k a couple weeks ago. They were gifts, because I was under the impression that you were still working on a website and considering chain swap. If you aren't, I'd rather get them back, than them get handed off to Judge haha. I know AngelLox was sending some to you too, over the holidays FYI.

I have been setting aside coins, in the expectation of having to fund a permanent developer, when the time came.  I am prepared to put 5%-10% of my coins up. I feel it is very important, for somebody to continue work, they must have skin in the game. I suggest other large holders, do so as well.

Edit: Hope this didn't sound harsh, or trollish. I'm just trying to clarify things

Anyone familiar with Raspberry Pi's? Trying to compile PayCon on my RPi2, haven't had much luck so far

If your main concern is to secure your Paycon and get stake rewards I would suggest a Steps StaySafe wallet. I've been staking all of my Paycon for weeks and I don't even have to have my computer on. There is also a Steps StaySafe wallet for Colossuscoin.

Jahvinci,

Pm me and I can give you much more details about it as well as tips to get the maximum amount of stakes a day!

Cloud staking is surely convenient, but not sure how it could be considered to be secure, when all your coins are at discretion of someone else, and there is no guarantee that person will not make a runner with all your coins some day...  Huh. Or they can be "hacked"...

I don't tell they will, but given the absence of any regulation in crypto, nothing stops them by doing so. There were so many cases... Even supposedly "reputable" exchanges sometimes get "hacked"  Roll Eyes

Related to RPi2, I never had one, but I compiled many wallets for other Debian Linux-based ARM devices without issues. Could help you with this if you have some specific issue/question.

The server is paid up for 1 year, and I donated a large pot to the house, so it's good to go for a long time.

It was really nice for Madross, of IncaKoin, to set this up for us.
Stop by and give a thanks, or "many thumbs up" Grin, if you have a chance. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annnka-incakoin-l-peru-l-launched-aug-2013-update-v1520-released-933851

I must say, in these crazy times of crypto, PayCon really has helped me connect with some of the most kind, honest, and generous of people to be found in this relm.

Thank you all
