Updates can help better for all the participants to understand the project workflow and how developers are engaged with the activities, an active communication can engage a trust and gain more good will.

it is natural that all people are attracted to projects in which absolutely transparent and open work of developers is conducted. The more communication, the more stable the growth of supporters of the project.

Investors =/= Participants. Bounty participants in most cases NEVER invest a significant amount cause they only want the free money from bounties
