seriously, is that all you can come up with.. then your really missing the point, and for that matter where the code came from..
Obviously, you missed the point. It's not about where the code came from. Crown is a Dash inspired "spin-off", that's no secret.
That being said, the wiki for CROWN shouldn't be a literal cut, copy, and paste that still says "DASH" where it should say "CROWN".
Examples:
Quote
Masternode owners must have possession of 1000 DASH
Quote
Please check https://www.dashcentral.org for Proposals
Example: Salary for DASH core team
https://www.dashcentral.org/p/core-team
Quote
The project would put the power of determining where Dash goes in the future to the Masternode network itself. Later in the future, I see most of the core development and other projects that we didn’t even think of funded through this model.

Do you have some Crown?  Wink

I updated www.zpool.ca again earlier and the alerts stopped now. Is there an official explorer on the correct chain?

I do still see this error though on my masternodes:

"errors" : "Please update to the latest version available on github https://github.com/Crowndev/crowncoin/releases/latest"

hrmm still showing protocol 70040, I'll, clean and rebuild again.

edit:

actually I see I'm on a throne fix branch... is it safe to move to masters for thrones?

git branch
* fix-hot-throne
  master

yupp safe to move to master now, the fix-hot-throne branch was merged Smiley also cryptoid is on the right chain, just hasnt updated yet.

Quick update:

During the update of wallets, some forks happened, we have asked bittrex to raise the number of confirmations to 50 until the network stabilises.

also to help stabilise the network the dev group has directed several PH of mining toward the new wallet, and will do so over the next few days.

Please update to latest client here https://github.com/crowndev/crowncoin

... If genie wanted to actually help, genie would have gone to the wiki and put all of their incredible knowledge there in a collaborative learning document where we can all benefit from it...
Or, he has a life (and a job) and doesn't have the time to be assed with trying to "think down" in order to teach others something that they could probably find, just as easily, on Google.... Wink

Edit: OK, here's my wiki submission (free of charge):
Code:
   for file in *; do
            sed -i -- 's/DASH/CROWN/g' "$file"
            sed -i -- 's/Dash/Crown/g' "$file"
            sed -i -- 's/DASh/CROWN/g' "$file"
    done

One would think that would come before using it.  Lips sealed

This is a learning process for most of us, i'm hoping in the next few weeks i'll have testnet active and learning through trial and error will be much easier and less disruptive... Documentation of these things is usually hard to come by or non existent so trial and error is the only option.

Don't feed the trolls, Infernoman. Obviously we prefer an environment where people are allowed to try things and know quickly whether it fails or succeeds. This allows us to learn quickly and apply new knowledge in quick, successive iterations. Any real platform builder would know this is the current best practice, especially for software development and community engagement, so genie is obviously trolling you Smiley

You're doing a great job and the alerts have been a perfectly reasonable learning opportunity for us all. If genie wanted to actually help, genie would have gone to the wiki and put all of their incredible knowledge there in a collaborative learning document where we can all benefit from it.

If anyone else wants to pitch in and share what they know, or doesn't know anything yet and wants to read from the ones smart enough to use a wiki, come on over: http://op.crownlab.eu/projects/crown-atomic/wiki/new-here-start-here  Cool

Can someone do something about the constant blank alerts that crownd is getting/sending?Huh

Working on clearing that up. Still a bit new to the alert system so when i tried to cancel out the test alert it didn't cancel as expected. i'm working on informing myself a bit better of the alert system for the next release.

Upgraded and it's still sending them

the old alert shouldn't affect the new version. since it was only issued to protocol version 70040. i'll catch up with you on IRC in the morning to see whats going on.
