I also can't see why it could be wrong to launch an Alpha of a product before the ICO. Most projects don't have anything to show at this stage, they have fancy ideas and 50 pages long whitepapers. Some have an MVP or a click dummy and a ton of marketing materials. A working product is so rare in these days and really should be appreciated. I mean, everyone can make pretty powerpoint slides. Plus isn't the money from the ICO supposed to finance the development of a product? I'm really at a loss here and I don't get why the proof in form of an Alpha version of a product could be considered a bad thing  Huh

Namixi, don't copy paste posts of other people and present them as your own, you'll most likely get red trust if you continue with that.

I dont really understand how u gonna maintain the liquiduty? U will create the pool from the collected funds. But it will be only eth. So you gonna provide the liquidity only for ETH trading pair?? Huh

ETH can be traded. In order to utilize the funds resp. the liquidity pool, the STeX needs to either trade a large portion of the ETH into other currencies or have an arbitrage/trading chain/mechanism in place that does that on the spot. That depends on how the trading process is implemented. Maybe they can do an AMA and this question can be answered (if it can be disclosed).
Either way, you need not fear that the liquidity pool covers only ETH trades or trading pairs Smiley

That did indeed help, thanks a lot! Although I don't get how the tier system might work. I'll have a look.

Great! Reading the whitepaper always helps.
Although, I'm not sure whether there is an explicit description of the tier system. I'd guess that the exact tiers are tbd and that it all depends on KPIs and the distribution of A2A tokens.
Maybe @Ivan [STeX] can elaborate a bit on this.

Are there any more info about the upcoming services available that might be purchased with A2A, or did I misunderstand that?

A2A tokens are used as an intermediary in every trade on STeX using A2A technology. The utility function of the token provides a tier system for commission discounts. A2A tokens will give users an opportunity to reduce their trading fees by up to 50% through paying commissions with it.

The discount is based on the amount of the commissions paid to the system and the length of time the token is held in the account.

From every commission paid to STeX, 70% of A2A are sold on the open market at current prices and become STeX's income. The remaining 30% are immediately transferred to the smart-contract known as A2A SHOP to be sold from that contract at the all-time high price, 0.1% higher than the previous sale from the contract. You can compare it to the BNB token (Binance).

I hope that clarifies it a bit more Smiley

Will the exchange STeX tokens be similar to Kucoin and Binance? Will it be used to vote on the list of new currencies?

There will be 2 tokens, the STE and the A2A token.

STE and A2A are two tokens that compliment each other. They are different tokens for different purposes.
  • STE is a dividend token
  • A2A is a utility token (on the platform, like BNB)

So it's similar to KuCoin or Binance but with 2 tokens, which is neat as dividend tokens aren't usually listed elsewhere but utility tokens are.
With the A2A token, you'll get up to 50% discount on the platform.

A good exchange method by proposing a diversity of comfort, convenience, conveniences and lower costs than other trades will build a tight competition in the stock exchanges for crypto players

How many I have read about this exchange and looked . I realized that it is sharpened by serious traders and to trade different little-known viola . So the stock exchange can shoot. Look at other exchanges, they urgently began to enter trades in different pairs but do not reach even the alpha version of the stack.

[...] But it would be really nice if STeX team could send important informations in a newsletter to all supporters. Mail updates are the most convenient way to keep community updated IMO.

Was there even a point in time when investors/participants could register their mail somewhere? I can't remember. But that certainly would be a good thing. Updates once every week or even every month (if they don't have the manpower) would be good as people tend to forget or overlook threads and telegram groups. This really should be a thing. Please consider that @STex team

Well that is the beauty of blockchain technology, you can track all token transfers and holder wallets and use smart contracts to automate distribution. Thanks a lot for the reply!
Huh, seems i have the correct one then...they distributed the new token automatically to my MEW wallet, where i held the old token...

Yes, the STeX team made sure that most processes are automated and that - even if something like a swap needs to happen - everything is done properly. The automation was implemented early on in the project.
