Hey everyone, im the main developer for CSC City, just giving you all a status update since Matthew is on vacation.

Things are a bit late but looking to get everything finished up sometime tomorrow so we can do the soft launch, then work out any kinks that pop up. Mostly just some display stuff to do and a couple things to add to the account area. I havnt read through this whole thread, but to answer some of the concerns I saw... yes, the site is using a pre-made template for the design.. however the code behind the site is totally custom built, not just slapping together a bunch of open source and random scripts  Smiley . The whole backend, account system and betting system is designed specifically for cryptos (CSC in this case) and for handling multiple types of games, pretty much anything you can think of that involves betting on a random number or set of numbers.

Also, I would like to announce that one of my websites, https://coincontroller.com will very soon be accepting CSC. Its a chain game, similar to "bitcoin gem" if anyone remembers that. Except better and more advanced. A better explanation and more details are on the site, so check it out. Expect CSC support completed within the week.

Thanks for the update.

It still sounds like you have developed a back end system that could become available to other cryptos.....  even if it is awesome and unique to CSC (for now.)  I really hope that Casino Coin will enjoy significant first mover advantage from your efforts. We will need to get the word out fast!

Thanks for the info Matthew. Exiting times!

Don't exit time, it's not safe!

And yeah, you should probably have waited for the whole launch thing till after your vacation anyways, IMHO.

Hmmmmm...... tis a little disappointing tho.... I thought Casinocoincity was going to be a bespoke designed site, not a 'me too' copy site which lottocoin et al can copy.

Where's our USP now?

:/

I have to agree. Spending $15 on a theme doesn't come off as super committed and serious to me.
And if more time/resources/money has been spent on the games (I really hope so), it makes no sense to cut corners on the website.

Casinocoincity was meant as a startingpoint. So for me it doesn't matter if a template costs $15. So I give Matthew the credits for starting up this site. But its the games that matter. It gives CSC real value.

After this CSC can expand. I hope Xivra will use another template or change its looks so much that it looks totally different from CSCcity. It

I agree with you.  I just hope the games are as good as we all seem to be hoping.  Is the Casino opening today?  Btw you stared a sentence, but left it hanging......

I would have said:

As was mentioned by Matthew on the casinocoincity announcement

*Our Games are completely unique designed from scratch! No script, or software was purchased or used* So that is what counts! We will wait when softlaunch can start. I think Matthew will respond on this today?

Spending $15 on a theme is better than spending 3 months with a dedicated design team to develop your own, or in his case, about a year without a dedicated team.

Anyways, based on some suggestions, here is a slightly updated logo. Thanks!

It happens when using templates from templatemonster.com, themeforest.net or other templates market.

http://themeforest.net/item/power-jackpot-glossy-and-shiny-html-theme/4289021

Solds 87 times.... 10x more ripped from live demo.

I have made a reply and asked them to use another template. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5017863

and here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=376160.new#new

They first came with this template yesterday, casinocoin was using it already more than a month. I think they saw the announcement on casinocoincity and wanted it too. Ok, but no copy please. For casinocoin not a problem but don't use the same stuff!

No worries. It is the same with doge, moon, lotto etc. Lotto=lotto, moon=moon, doge=doge and xivra=xivra. But there is only 1 casinocoin and that is casinocoin CSC. Meant for online casino.

Xivracoinowners you're welcome, no offence. Gives CSC more publicity, thanks for that  Cheesy

what do you guys think are the 2-3 months price projections?

I'm hoping we get some serious investors/developers in the future who will look to utilize CSC for poker sites = $$ will scale according to how the fork and CSCity goes. I think with any coin it's a bumpy ride with the price, but a couple things I feel that will play a role ultimately in where we're going in the next few months:

- The market development around CSC has been entertaining to say the least in these infancy stages. I think that we're on the brink of making some serious progression in our coin's future. Whether the fork drives the price down or not is anybody's guess, but I will say that people betting on this coin going places would be wise to hold onto what CSC they have. Big players are not going to allow you to get in at the price you desire; professional traders will be FEASTING on whatever trend the market is pointing in. For the period of time I've held onto and traded my CSC, it's been all over the place - ultimately leading me to hold what I have and am prepared to accept where this thing's heading.

- As much as a lot of us LOVE poker, we all want to play on a site that has a friendly setup and design. While that may not be optimal to setup at the beginning of CSC's life, it's capable being likable through a responsive development team and a positive community. So, as a piece of advice for people looking to price watch: set some CSC aside to play with, and give it a chance. The more active users are on the initial site will give operators a chance to look over bugs and complaints so they can make it the best site possible for the coin.

- Recruiting members within the gambling industry to be a part of CSC would be a major accomplishment as well. I would bargain even in the USA - with the amount of US poker players that play online, many professionals would be looking for alternatives to their online gambling; how about a groundbreaking and emerging platform like CSC?

Anyways it's easy to get overzealous and expect CSC to skyrocket, but tempered expectations are the best option. We hit a high of 1CSC/.00006BTC around New Years(?), and my thoughts 300-500% growth from that would be incredible and a goal I'd like to see reached.
