A global idea for logo CSCCity? Transparant of course. (quick sketch)

Took the quick idea of this as well and made another switch to the logo let me know what you think, the curved text actually looks quite nice (I have to change it darker!)
We are getting there with the graphics

Yes, I see. 3 times the symbol looks a bit too much? But I understand for it stands for CCC and maybe it is ok with the text darker. The curved text is preferably. Looks good to me.

I will see tomorrow.

Edit: I think it's ok the 3 CCC with the curved text darker. Proportions are good.

Is there a guide out there to setting up a node, or what do I have to do to set up my server to node as well as be a pool?

Just download wallet and can't sync.
 Any nodes?
The developer is working on an update. Currently no one mines it because there is no payoff, and if I got it right, this makes transactions etc. very slow(Im a complete noob though). The update/fork should however be here any day now. I store my coins at cryptsy atm.

I don't have any trouble syncing. If you are running the windows client, you can easily add nodes by creating a shortcut, then add each node as "-addnode=" options on the command line under properties for the shortcut. For the windows client, here is my example command line:

C:\Users\casinocoin\Desktop\casinocoin-1.0.0.4\casinocoin-qt.exe -addnode=seed.casinoco.in:47950 -addnode=seed1.casinoco.in:47950 -addnode=seed2.casinoco.in:47950 -addnode=188.165.218.116:47950 -addnode=54.225.110.95:47950

From my conf file:
addnode=seed.casinoco.in:47950
addnode=seed1.casinoco.in:47950
addnode=seed2.casinoco.in:47950
addnode=188.165.218.116:47950

The promotions tab leads to a "About us" page which doesn't exist, well probably neither does the promotions page, but yeah.

CasinoCoin

Did up some random logos, Let me know what you guys think; Replaced the old one with the easier one to place for the time being. Can be edited etc.
http://imgur.com/a/E3Djh
(4th pic with bitcoins can obviously be changed to casinocoins, the bitcoin logo was right there and much quicker!)

I don't like all of these in the link..

I think there can be made better ones. There are some persons specialized in making graphics here on this forum.
No money to pay for one.
Rather just leave the current one (new) / had.

If anyone can provide a logo that would be appreciated but at this moment its the least of my concern as I could use a generic one from a template but dont want to end up doing that

Hi! Mac wallets are outdated.

Framework is not correctly placed witch makes the wallet crash under mavericks.

I'm trying my best to fix the issue..!

I saw that the lottocoin community is planning on opening casinos as well,

Lottocoin is lotto, bingocoin is bingo but casinocoin is casino. Don't worry about that.
Exactly. But we really have to make sure that we do things right, otherwise we won't be distinguishable on the market. I wish I could contribute with more, but I guess my donations/investment will be enough for now Smiley

I saw that the lottocoin community is planning on opening casinos as well, but I don't think that will be a threat to us - since that coin is very inflated by the amount of coins + the 2% premine and the randomly handed out millions.

The upcoming CSC fork needs a lot of consideration, I think that growth rate should be kept at a minimum, but still enough to make it interesting to mine.

I was trying as well, but I don't have a copy of OSX to work under so couldn't fix it. :/

Have been talking with jake over the past few weeks on Skype, and can say hes a great guy who has heavily invested his time, and money into CasinoCoin and Only wants a better future for the Coin. Glad to see you back around the forums its been awhile!

Hey Matthew! Well, I am excited to see how things turn out with CSC, and out here in the states it looks like there's a promising future here for online gambling! We're another year or two away here in California, but it looks like the general consensus is that it would be a great boost to our revenue. A lot of folks in my community are into card games (I primarily play Hold'em), and quite a few of my peers and friends from school spent time or have at least tried online poker. Anyways I'm holding out for the long run that crypto, in particular BitCoin and other alts - are here to stay.

With ALL the potential for developers to put out high quality poker platform sites, CSC could be quite a commodity.
I think we need to think and discuss about designing an api that can be implemented in various programming languages like C, Java, PHP, Phyton, etc for depositing/withdrawing CSC. That way we can help online casinos implementing CSC. I would be more than willing coding part of the api but i think we first need a solid design, worked out in a document so we can use that as the starting point for the various implementations. Anybody with a solid knowledge about online casinos to give input for such a document?

Anyway, the sky is the limit for CSC. Not necessarily only for online casinos. I am thinking about a physical slot machine where you can deposit/withdraw CSC straight from your mobile phone!! So you would not even need real money for that. I bet Last Vegas would be interested in that as well!! I am sure that a brainstorm session on CSC applications would result in a long list of opportunities!!

WTB 9BTC of casino coins. Pm me if interested.
Happy to use escrow/multiple transactions.

Joe

Hey Joe,

Unfortunately I don't have any extra CSC to sell, I'm mining and holding onto what I have now for the foreseeable future. I wanted to suggest though that if you did plan to purchase 9 BTC's worth of CSC, I would go to Cryptsy and get your bag from there. The volume from it's previous highs have disappeared, but if you spread out and stagger your buy orders picking up some CSC shouldn't be more than a 3-5 day job. I would try to place smaller buy walls at first but increase them as you feel comfortable - ideally you want to avoid having any sort of big volume increases; CasinoCoin is not quite ready for public consumption so there's a lot of speculation and artificial manipulation on that exchange.

If you've been following the CSC thread and the coin's value, I'm sure you'll be able to make a smart investment. Only a matter of time before some MUCH needed implements roll in - judging by the activity in recent weeks we're looking good to go!

Regards!
Jacob

The most urgent thing is that fork! When that is implemented we can start the hype, donations etc, and then a working CCCity a week from that, best scenario!

A new exchange to add CSC? Costs are 0.25 BTC. https://cryptorush.in/index.php?p=list-your-coin

Charging you to be listed? It's a scam, don't do it.

It works like a charm. I've tried. In an instant, trade has been made and balanced. Withdrawal also ok and fast. An option maybe. No begging to be listed. But it's not up to me  Grin

As for CSCCity, the tournamentspage, I like it Tongue Maybe the background of the bannersection of the homepage a very slight greenish color as the tournamentspage?  Further the text on top is clear and ok, I think.

There is progress being made.
