I use a similar config for alt-coins with quick block speeds, and it works great. Just sent you 10 CSC. Thanks for the tip!

Help me, I cant send my CSC to the wallet on Coins-E site. And I guess nobody can because there were no trades on this currency.

There's one order on the books, so it looks like it's working. Did you get any error messages?

how did this coin get listed on crypsy after 4 days.. special interests?

hundreds of people mining it and 100+ mh/s network rate all 4 days, people like this coin and they use it, and that is reason why it got on exchange so soon. It all depends on community.

Of course new coins don't get listed if there are 5-10 miners only, that is not enough to say that community is using coin (and usage of coin is primary rating point if it should or should not get on exchange)

hundreds of people eh

With help on launch day from pool operators like nearmiss and CartmanSPC, the launch of CasinoCoin went extremely smooth. With some coordination, nearmiss was able to open up his pool for registration prior to launch so miners could prep their workers. A P2Pool option was also available with CartmanSPC's pool at launch. When the source and binaries became available, everyone was able to start mining it fairly -- I couldn't have asked for a better start! Like everyone else, I wish I could have been able to mine more early on, but I was fumbling around with my mining setup and didn't get it fully up and running into quite a number of blocks had already been mined. I thought I had pretty decent mining setup until I saw the hashrate of guys like stevenlam...lol.

I'm still surprised to see how quickly CasinoCoin has been adopted, and I attribute that to the CasinoCoin community -- you guys have been awesome! Being listed within 3 days of launch onto Cryptsy is a testament to the confidence people have in CasinoCoin. Some naysayers have claimed that "bribes" or bounties played a role for the listing -- but I'll kill that rumor right now -- none of that happened. I attribute the quick adoption for same reasons that apbyte mentioned above. No premine, fair start, growing community, adoption by miners, marketing power of the name, etc.

Now that the launch is over and CasinoCoin is listed on an exchange, we're onto the next step of promoting CasinoCoin adoption and keeping the momentum going. I'm doing all within my power to make this happen, and hope to have some great news to post soon. In the meanwhile, please help to promote CasinoCoin by using the CasinoCoin avatar and promoting CasinoCoin wherever you can!

  • 50 coins per block, halves every 3,153,600 blocks (~3 years)
  • fair launch, absolutely no premine

Mining started with difficulty 0.0 and 35 coins as reward > http://casinocoin.blockexplore.com:2750/chain/CasinoCoin?hi=19&count=20
3 and half minutes after start, reward dropped to 5 coins > http://casinocoin.blockexplore.com:2750/chain/CasinoCoin?hi=729&count=20

25,165 coins instamined in that period equal 2.5165 BTC at 0.0001 rate. Instamining continued for some more time, 100k+ coins generated.

So much about bullshits in your starting post.

There was announcement for day or so before coin actually went live. And announcement was full with shiny well created images and screenshots of new coin and wallet that made people think that this could go somewhere.

Everything was prepared, we were able to register at pool before coin was released.

It wasn't instamined, simply a lot of people waited for ticker to hit 0 and wallet downloads were enabled and we all jumped in, I mean a lot, I was one of them and I got quite many coins, but there were really big numbers of people mining starting first second and they had.
We all got share of that amount you described above, yes I remember 35 coin reward at beginning and then it was dropped to 5 coins and further went up by 5 coins every x blocks. I think it reached 50 coins per block only yesterday, or day before.

This was all announced and everyone was informed ... so don't attack coin simply because you are too late, or didn't see announcement post

CSC / CasinoCoin has now been added to www.bitgrenade.net (hot potato style gambling game).

Thank you vipah for the CSC integration! This is the first of many CSC integrations with online gaming.
