What do you mean "someone" ? It's not that a user can ban an account, nor the devs would ban account, there must have been some good damn reason to ban an account.
What was the answer from the forums' staff ?
It got banned for "spam" when informing Doge, Ripple, Litecoin and Darkcoin about The Cash-Register for Crypto-Currency. 4 posts.
We have sent countless emails to this forum to get unbanned, but .... not even a reply from them.

There has been some chatter about why an idea like CXC Register did not instantly pump the coin upon Beta release. This is an idea that is being developed that will reach out beyond the speculative nature of the coins as they are today. Much like the coins that are catering to certain products, this coin will be rise in value over time as it the software behind it improves and becomes used and widely noticed in the commerce world outside of speculative markets. These kinds of ventures are what will bridge the coin world from infancy to maturity as they find ways to make coins practical to people outside of the little bubble they are in now.
No one knows which ideas will success and which are doomed, but supporting the effort to get coins accepted is one way to make sure they eventually will be. Be patient with these developers as most of them are really working toward creating ideas of value. It is natural to want a quick profit if you believe it is there for the taking, but sometimes you just invest in an idea that may grow into an industry one day. This particular team has a track record and has members that have proven themselves on other projects to be steady and committed. There are not many other reasons better than that to trust in the future of a coin.

New to this thread but very interested in CXC.
I'm unclear though as to whether this is a web-only checkout product, or if this is something that can be used in a physical restaurant/retail location.

Both.
There is an API that will be used for plug-ins and there is also the cash register aspect which will be usable in physical locations as well.

The possibility is for both , it would be very easy to build a raspberry pi hooked upto a 7-10inch touchscreen tablet and have it running like a POS system they have in stores. (coding might be the difficult part) but any decent coder could do it

It is web shop currently. This is still beta so while it functions on the web , it will need more additions to be workable in a physical location really , (i mean if someone who buys it can code , and designs their own PLU and stuff it would be possible to have it up and running at a physical store) It does mention in the video that it is a future plan for what the PLU will look like so i am guessing it is still being worked towards.
Stuff is being worked on daily , all local currencies is currently being worked on and easy integration into easy to set up online stores/shop fronts from reputable online store front providers, making easy integration of the cash register into such easy to design sites
