Around 9k DASH from POLO loans has been placed as a sell wall at 0.0168  Shocked

Time to short  Cool
Huh i don't see it.

Disappeared in a few mins...Watchout closely

I saw a 10,000 Dash buy wall put up at 0.016...it went down a minute later.

Looks like we are getting the attention of some serious investors, all this time I thought it was Otoh controlling the market. There are people out there who have even more money than him lol!

Lol...seriously, they arent investors...manipulators of course...

Do you know how markets work?
Whales buy when there is no buy wall(0.009-0.012) where noobs sell and whales put up buy walls and dump onto noobs who buy at high prices....This is the cycle of every altcoin market

Anyone shorting this has got some balls..

That`s what I keep saying. Everytime there is good news, the dash lending market on Polo dries out and people short Dash. This time it has not happened yet. At least not as much as last time when the Mycelium news came.
Anyway, wether it`s some supression scheme or not, it will fail in the long run.

Anyone shorting this has got some balls.. 2/3rds of coin supply tied up in masternodes and demand consistently outstripping supply in the open market for coins since December last year. Has anything changed about the fundamentals that's negative at the moment? If not then Dash's value is only going to keep going up until an equalibrium is met between buyers and sellers. This doesn't look likely at the moment though as masternode additions seem to be accelerating if anything? If masternode additions stalled or reversed that may be a sign to place a short?

Anyway, happy new ATH everybody!!  Grin Tongue Kiss

This is one successful cryptocurrency. It was just a mere $2 / dash now masternodes are worth $9000 each . I am just jealous of every dash masternode operator out there.

you can make that $10.000 each  Grin

All cryptos are FIAT digital currency. Do not use.
I have no idea what caused that jump in price, but I'm glad it's slowing down a bit.  I don't like uncertainty and a big pump can cause a big crash, so I like the way Dash slowly climbs...... hate it when it dumps though Tongue

Still, Bitcoin is dropping, so it's also a bit of that as well.

This post and/or your support of that butcher Churchill will eventually land you some negative rep if you're not careful. Wink

Did you somehow miss Otoh's market manipulating 195 BTC buy order and subsequent post ?

Or did his shitty javascript expoit(s) crash your brower just before you got to that part ?

I lost all my darkcoins about a year or so ago when my ssd  crashed. I just found the backup I had made. Can I restore the backup I made with the darkcoin wallet to the dash wallet.

Congrats! Nothing like finding some money that you thought you'd lost  Grin Yes, you can certainly restore it, look for your wallet.dat file in the backup. If you have that then you're at the races, really easy to restore.

Only thing is you'll need to remember your password if you encryped it.

Walter

I have a wallet from the days of darkcoin, I've tested my password against it with JohnTheRipper.
The Dash-qt won't accept the password. I've tried a number of command line scripts and the wallet options without success.
Please, if you have you any suggestion I can try?

Just keep that wallet.dat safe.  You need to find the correct password.  Write down potential passwords and check them off after trying them out a few times.  You're not limited in the number of attempts (there is no lock out) so just keep trying.  I think that's all you can do.

Thanks guys for all your help I was able to restore from the wallet.dat. I had been kicking myself for months and months and thought they were lost forever. I'm now a happy man. I actually shut down my p2pool site and gave up mining over it.

This is such great news, I can imagine the relieve! Congratulations!

I was too lazy to move funds there...  ended up just buying up much of the coins on btce (up to .0155) since I didn't want to hold ETH anymore.
