I'm flabbergasted that some people here want to second-guess Evan on matters of how to move forward with Dash. He's done a super-human job getting us to this point, and still people want to fight him on where we go from here.
Evan is in this up to his eyeballs, and he knows what's best. If masternode owners need to give up a little power to make things run smoother, so be it. We can't have mob rule democracy. It's been tried and it's failed many times in history. The MN owners need to act like shareholders now and not legislators.
The issue is that people are loathe to give up power once granted, even if giving up that power benefits them.

Actually, I think Evan appreciates the input from the community. This debate is extremely healthy. On the one hand, governance has to scale, on the other hand, we don't want to build a Federal Reserve System of sorts. The question is, how decentralized can we be while still being efficient. Evan has historically gleaned a lot of insight from the community on how to implement his ideas. Nobody can work successfully in a bubble, and Evan is wise enough to know this. He never takes arguments as negative, but rather a great system to squeeze out the best solution.
So in my opinion, heated debates show exactly how awesome Dash and it's community and developers really are. Each individual team member (and that includes trolls - Evan has said so) wins some and loses some, but once a consensus is made, most everyone moves forward with it, ready to support and watch and see if it works. It's such a mature system now, it's amazing! We really are a Dash Nation!
