back to DASH mixing....
so i tried to send out an ix transaction while i was mixing and the ix failed. it did get sent and made it but without ix.
the wallet has not crashed again but the mixing seems to be stuck now. it says it found unconfirmed outputs and is waiting for them to confirm. it shows a "conflicted" transaction with "darksend denominate" in the "type" box.
i may have screwed it up doing that transaction while trying to mix or maybe something else is wrong on my end. i've never had all these problems before, even my email is acting up.
not sure if i should wait or start it over again. i got some shows i want to dl so i may just try again tomorrow so my torrent client and peerblock does not cause problems.
when is version 12.1 coming out?
I also have a problem keeping a dash wallet running to mix in windows - usually crashes in 1 - 2 hrs. I think it is a display driver crashing. I have had the same problem with win7 with an i5 and a win8 with an i7 and two different monitors. I also see the screen blank for a second about 15 minutes after turning on. So I know I have a driver problem on two separate machines. Rather than spend 80 hrs googling and coding a hack for windows, I just use one of my linux servers to mix my coins. It could also be a program conflict, but reinstalling windows isn't of interest to me. (No this isn't a screen saver or simple power setting that shuts something down.)
If you send a transaction while mixing and it used one of the inputs, my guess is it would stop mixing when it finds a conflicted transaction. You will probably need to restart your wallet and try a mix again.
12.1 is in testing and you could download from github but I think you need to compile for windows. The big change is the multirequest mixing which should speed up mixing. You will still wait for unconfirmed inputs (basically you are sending 0 fee transactions and are waiting for this to get in a block).
Really, windows 10? Sounds risky. You can disable the upgrade to windows 10 advertising nag box. Best of luck...I feel your pain, but I don't think windows 10 is the answer.
thanks for the help guys. i think you nailed it. the only thing that has changed since my last mixes over the last year is i got a new tv/monitor. i bet you are right and it's a driver issue as my new tv is 4k and computer card is only 1080p. 99% of the time it's fine but it has flipped out and screwed up the picture a few times and had to be restarted.
i guess it's about time for a computer upgrade with 4k anyway, could be a good time to finally give linux a try! i've stayed away in the past because not all my programs were available on linux or i had to pay for them.
just crashed again
looks like my test will have to wait for another day or till 12.1.
never had this issue before, weird.
this may be a good time to update to win 10
Weird, my win7 x64 machine seems to mix on the current version last I tried. Anything strange in your debug log?
my wallet has always mixed fine up until now and like btc only crashed a few times ever (~2 years).
i think Solarminer nailed it with the driver issue above. also windows 7 updates almost once a week so it could have something to do with win7 as that and the tv are the only thing that has changed.
i never figured out the exmo 2fa problem but it could have something with my old ass galaxy s2 which i've been waiting to upgrade. i'll be picking up the new s7 in the next two weeks and try exmo again. polo freezes up bad when things get busy just like craptsy-gox used too. mintpal was the sh!t until green came along f'ed it up. i wish we could get bitfinex with instantx and their fiat gateway. any truth to that bitfinex rumor?
