Duffield is taking advantage of simple-minded people like Tante's ontological confusion. They don't understand the technical background, and so put their faith into charismatic individuals (IE trusted third parties) in order to make some kind of sense of the world and avoid cognitive dissonance.

I was referring to the billion dollars in btc sitting in an address, untouched since 2009. Mined by "satoshi". Could be the biggest scam of all time. Playing the long game, but inadvertently sparking a tech. revolution in the process.
could be satoshi deserved his billion dollars? besides other developers are in control now (unlike DASH evan still is in control)..anyway that's a different topic.

Has duffield ever offered to burn the instamine...or at least most of it? That's a pretty big pile of shit to hide under the rug...
I don't doubt the Dash team's talent or resolve, but this will haunt them until the end.
That being said...btc's instamine is worse.

With that being said, I'm not a Dasher by any means. Just an opportunist. I like Dash at these prices. Times are good. We have legendary and not so legendary trolls raping this thread relentlessly at the moment, and that only makes things incredibly entertaining and hilarious.
OK. Only part i'll disagree with is liking DASH at these prices. It still seems horribly overpriced... there's no reason why the price won't continue the downward slope for the next 12-18 months. The decline will likely be even more pronounced in time for the Miami conference, when Evan delivers his trademark "nothing but fluff" routine

You just need to read the last pages of the "Monero speculation" thread to understand what all the Trolleros are doing here.
The Monero project is just about to release a new version which is just an improvement to fix some bugs, which is nice of course. Nothing else. No real innovation, no real project ahead. And the Monero people and the markets are beginning to understand that.
The only reason they are here is because try to flood this thread with the same topics and discussions every day is the only tactic they have left.
It is a really sad show to watch from the sidelines.
Typical post from a dash supporter to justify why he thinks others are criticizing Dash, its developer, and its history ^.
The ironic thing is this is pretty much the same line DASHers come up with to rationalize why people would criticize dash (GET SOME NEW MATERIAL AS IT IS GETTING OLD).
Yet have the gall to say that critics of DASH are running out of material to criticize dash on when it appears that each week there is another hidden turd uncovered that was swept under the DASH rug to hide from plain view for noobs to see and use to decide if they want to be invested in DASH.

Looks like we broke above our 3000 difficulty ceiling finally. If so that means, we should stop paying the higher block rewards from here on out (capped at ~4.20DASH, 3.90DASH in about a month).

Interesting jump towards $420, I guess we'll either see the price for BTC fall back or perhaps that the alts drop as to keep their $-value, as has been seen for DASH for the most part.
