Anybody know if a merchant accepting crypto transactions requires PCI Compliance?  Looks like to accepting credit cards it is required.

That is a payment card security standard. There is no reason why a merchant accepting any digital currency would need PCI compliance... they aren't handling any sensitive data (it is all on the blockchain anyway, so nothing to protect).

Hey.... Wait a minute... Where the hell are our trolls?   Cry

I think the report button is doing a mighty fine job, really enjoying the break from their constant drone Smiley

Hi all,

After I read some troll here badmouth darksend mixing, I decided to finally "hit the button" and see what happens. It works! I tried two rounds with 100 Dash, and after a few hours it completed (it stopped at 99.9 Dash for some reason). I then went back and added another round, and again, it just worked. It's kind of addicting mixing coins.

My question is this: if I used three rounds, and each round employs three other users, when I spend these coins, anyone looking at the blockchain can only know the coins originated from one of 64 possible users (four to the power of three). Is that right? Thanks.

Welcome Smiley I think that's right, not sure if it's -1 each round from your own participation but it's close iirc. There are a few concerns over the possibility of tracing from low participation numbers but it gets ridiculously low after about 8 rounds or so and mixing by default is planned to be implemented at some stage so it's not an issue after that as anyone running a client is... ensuring fungibility Smiley

I just forked DarkWallet and mocked up a client, what do you think?

It seems like it might be a great platform for connecting to DAPI. The code is really nice as well. If anyone looking at this is really good at javascript and wants to help, I see a role for you! Email me at [email protected].

Never checked out Darkwallet before, impressive. Never done anything with javascript before either but tempted to learn, it looks like Darkwallet fits right in with Evolution.

As long as the code base is solid, then theming, skins and a more user friendly UI could make this a great wallet.
Personally I like the current blue theme for the desktop DASH wallet. Maybe this wallet could have a similar styling?

Great times for Dash, folks. Fresh eyes on the project from everywhere, realizing that this isn't your grandfather's Darkcoin anymore. Bids are thickening, people realizing the potential of adoptable digital cash. The next two months will be interesting. Developing ideas for Evolution, and reaching out to more and more people to join the community.

Cheers to all my Dash brothers and sisters! Looking forward to Miami!

Without further ado, here is Duffield's centralized speech

Maybe someone can contact author and have "centralized" replaced with "summarized" .... or maybe i'm just overthinking it.
I think it's a play on the sentence before: "decentralized...., decentralized...., decentralized...., and decentralized...." whereas the presententation by just one man is obviously centralized Smiley

yeah, yr probly right .. i'm overthinking it.
Maybe we should have a choir presenting in Miami  Grin

That could actually work, a nice gospel about Dash.. i sense a budget proposal forming already  Grin
