Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
Anybody here to talk to?  Hey, if anyone wants to help me define legal issues Dash may face in the future, such as the validity and legality of ADVC's or taxes or anything we might face in the future?

Let's start by asking who the new Dash devs list on their taxes as their employer.

Is it Duffield?  Or THE DARKCOIN FOUNDATION INC?

Is their employer withholding or are they contractors?

A big thanks to our increasingly desperate trolls for the thread bumps.

As has been pointed out correctly, Evan won the 2014 Coins Source Proof of Honour (POH) award. Here are the results:

The thread on bitcointalk actually got quite a few views:

For comparison, Detective arielbit's favourite thread has had less than half as many views since its inception:

"Boilerplating?"

You obviously don't know how to use that term correctly; you've used it in a place where it is completely inappropriate.

Indeed.

I suppose I have if you happen to be a grammatically myopic trainspotter that fails to notice the common theme of redundancy.

I'll probably start a google doc or something to start the list, then we can begin to organize it/them Smiley

if you have 4 billion $ marketcap...will you twist and twirl your protocol? put yourself in their shoes...

They are doing something much worse. Boilerplating it with sidechains and proprietary superstructures.

It may work, but strategically it's still ugly and desperate when set alongside the original goals of a cryptocurrency.

Quote
In computer programming, boilerplate code or boilerplate is the sections of code that have to be included in many places with little or no alteration. It is often used when referring to languages that are considered verbose, i.e. the programmer must write a lot of code to do minimal jobs. (chunk of code that is copied over and over again with little or no changes made to it in the process.)  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boilerplate_code

Quote
Boilerplate is any text that is or can be reused in new contexts or applications without being greatly changed from the original.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boilerplate_%28text%29

I guess you just overheard the word, gleaned it has a negative connotation, and haphazardly deployed it against Bitcoin in an entirely inapplicable context.

Please learn to dictionary, and stop writing Bitcoin Obituaries in an attempt to pump your snake oil/bad crypto coin using FUD against the market leader.

Dash...inherits bitcoin's codebase

Bitcoin has ReplaceByFee and CheckLockTimeVerify.

When will Dash inherit RBF and CLTV?

Right after 2FA?  Right after masternode blinding?

Yet another broken promise, but the Evan's Gate cultists are too brainwashed to notice.

Haha, Clarkmoody!  I was trying to recall that name just last night... thank you!

Here's a couple of his reports from the old days. The first one is discussing the favourable effect that Gox's disappearance from the market had on inter-exchange arbitradge and also takes a good old stab at the 'lamestream media' LoL.

Here's another belter - he talks through a bitcoin crash down to $2 !  (I might have posted this earlier in the Dash thread - like about a year ago).

Tok is.

No I'm not. Everything I know about charts I learned after starting to trade cryptos and watching people on these forums (+ looking up investopedia and chartschool LoL).

You must just have been impressed by my fancy graphics  Wink

P.S. Tell you who I did learn a lot from  - a guy that went by the handle of BrotherJohnF. He used to do video blogs of bitcoin T/A on the old Clarkmoody Gox chart and his analyses were fantastic. People would hang off his every word. He stopped doing those over a year ago which is a shame. His commentaries have never been bettered IMO. This is his site: www.BrotherJohnF.com

Then you must've sold them at the peak price of the April pump. So as anyone who can read the market signals well would do.

No. I didn't. I held them because I was accumulating Dash in that market, not bitcoin.

It`s 24 december 2014 lowest so I took it as a base bottom.

It went to 0.003 in 2014 August (I know cos I bought some at that price). Wouldn't that be the lowest (of the post-peak period) ?

Seems like you are an experienced trader. Do you hold any DASH now? I mean for long term, not daytrading.

I used to daytrade it (last year) and then once I saw it was going somewhere long term just stuck it in a couple of masternodes and forgot about it.

In fact I hardly daytraded anything this year - couldn't be bothered with the constant chart ogling day in day out.

edit: yes I hold as I believe in it. Sometimes trade a bit but not much....

you are right but 0,003 does not will rehappen again Sad if it does believe me or not I`m ALL IN @ this price.
0,005 looks like actual bottom line..... well time will show....
IMO after Miami bitconf we will have the point of no return to low prices.... just my opinion....
