That would be very interesting to set this chart with Dash price (probably less MN -> price is going up?)

I have many MNs running through splawik21's mn services and very similar experience.  Create a new address, move 1000 coins there. Give public key, get masternode config file.  Start masternode.     (Wait a few days and start receiving payouts).     His services cost less than the node40 services.

The Chinese Communist Party's version of a "free market" is like an Alcoholics Anonymous group in Saudia Arabia that welcomes new members, encourages them to stand up and do the "Hi, I'm John and I'm an alcoholic..." thing and then promptly arrests them for having used alcohol. I.e. it's all good until it's all bad then we'll tell you how you're going to behave to get back to good again (but you might go broke in the meantime....velly sauwee). There's some fundamentals of market theory they're not comprehending.

It's even easier than this, with Holger/flare & Node40's service I just give them the public addresses where I've sent the 1,000 DASH to and they give me the config file once they've set up the server side stuff, then I just fire them up from my local computer, so quick and easy. There's also a new entry in the MN management game that I'm trying out atm: http://www.regato.io as it's good to encourage more of these for diversification etc, though I really do like what Node40 are doing for DASH generally.

and indeed it brings an interesting point. I expect LTC's going to pump a fair bit more given the perfect storm of what's happening in China, the long confirmation delays currently with BTC and the push that (potentially, if it's true) this marketing company is doing.

But....(and it's going to be a big butt when it all comes crashing down) it's likely the pump will transfer to other cryptos and, like our BTC-e friend has asked, which ones will it be? I reckon Dash will be a prime jump-to crypto coming off the back of this and it could go off at any moment too.

Coinmarket indicate $43 millions volum for BTC and 42 millions volum for TLC.. Yes this is high.
I really never imagine it will go so high and it will last so long.

DASH have 100  000 volum, people didn't know that you can make stable revenu by byuing 1000DASH and make a MN?

Thanks for the plug Tante. Some of our customers actually have the technical knowledge, but they have 5+ masternodes and don't want to manage them. It can take some time (a commodity).

It's like this. I have a house that needs a new roof. I did some roofing back in college, so I know how to do it myself. But, there are professional roofers out there who can get the job done leaving me to concentrate on what I'm good at... typing away on a computer to produce applications. It's not that I'm lazy, it just makes more sense for me to concentrate on my core competencies.

Now that LTC is flying high, it may be a good time to approach BTC-e about Dash again - much better when than when they are all fearing the imminent collapse of LTC.

What we all knew is now being clearly presented to the governments of Mexico, Italy, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Hungary, Malaysia, UAE, the United States, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Sudan, Uzbekistan, Panama, Ethiopia, Egypt, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, South Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, Spain, Ecuador, Oman, Switzerland, Thailand, Russia, Nigeria, Turkey, Cyprus, Honduras, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Poland, and Bahrain, all of which had purchased various spying software from these decent gentlemen of the Hacking Team, and that's it: we are the enemy. The people of the world.

So now, can someone of you kind people, smarter than myself, draw a parallel in between what our technology offers and Gandhi non violent resistance?

I admit it's a bit technical (I'm not a tech pro neither) but there are some great tutorials on dashtalk. When I was stuck (after the update to DASH) I got prompt answers via the forum.

I don't know of a single person who asked for help and didn't receive it.  Everyone who asked for help has come back to thank a member for holding their hands and walking them through it.  So if anyone has had trouble following the instructions, they have been given help.  If someone has not, they never asked.

I know because I have been here from the start and have read this thread every day.  I highly doubt I missed one.

Well, yes, it is very easy to do, but some people are really afraid of computers, and don't find anything about it easy.  I have a dear friend who is so afraid to do anything with her computer, it's amazing!  She's not even old!  But I guess we've always been eggheads in my family, but not in her's.

However, there are MN management services.  The biggest one now is Node40, but also some of the developers and forum members like flair provide services.  You don't even have to risk your coins if you have the entire 1000 coins available.  You just give them the masternode private key, which can't be used to access your funds, only verify your node exists.  That and the transaction id for the deposit of the 1000 coins into your account and the index number in that particular block.  With that, they'll run your masternode.  You do pay for the service, but it includes servicing on a VPS as well as management, updating and making sure it's running and nothing is going wrong. 

So really, there is no reason not to invest in a masternode unless you can't afford the coins.  There are even services that group coins together from share holders and run nodes for them.  In this case, you have to trust them with your coins.  But you do get to participate in earning dividends on your coins, even if you don't have enough for a masternode.

ANYONE....ANYONE...with 1000DASH can set up a Masternode.  Please explain exactly what you mean, because you obviously have ABOSOLUTELY  NO CLUE on what a masternode is.  Its open source....

That's simply not true my friend. Several reputable and influential people in bitcoin world tried it, only to not succeed. It seems very subjective who gets to be masternode and who doesn't.

bro, ANYONE can easily setup masternode, its not rocket science...if you can READ ... you can setup masternode!!!

i tested that theory with my n00bish wife who doesn't know squat ... she followed guide and voala, MASTERNODE started by my n00bish wife
