So with the rename to DASH, I see 'dark send' is still called 'darksend'.
Are there any plans to rename dark send to something more 'family friendly'?

If I recall correctly, I think the plans were to leave that as is - though I'll admit I can't find the source offhand and that was early branding material that could have changed.

The US is going after crypto with ever increasing regulatory burdens that are, from what I've been reading, a moving target and you can get hit retrospectively too.

It will take some time before the 500 years circle paradigm shift from West to East concludes its first round. Everyone knows the U.S. will nuke them if some drastic decision would aim at undermining the U.S. ("West") world dominance / tyranny overnight. They all need to work slowly, firstly establishing a parallel world / institutions that are not based and controlled in the West and let the West wither away or sink into the 2nd dark ages.
Stupidity of our Overlords boggles the mind, though. They are akin to a gangster in Las Vegas casino who has all the money from ongoing bank robbery to gamble while is holding a gun to the croupier's head and yet losses it

Does this mean that Dash version 0.11.2.23 will include the automatic backup function and will also include all fixes & additions incorporated into the Master branche on github after 11th of april 2015 (when Dash version 0.11.2.22 was released) ? If so we need perhaps a bit more documentation about this update.

this is only for the voting system , as not mandatory update
i just downloaded version 0.11.2.23 and automatic backups are definetely in there, therefore we should have more information
about this new update as it implements more than only the voting revision.
For example this new update installs a backup folder and creates a backup file automatically upon start of wallet (see Tools, Show Automatic Backups)
Right now the only documentation is here:
