[TRL] Trollero - The cancer of cryptocurrency
I picked up that the first troll attacks started around the beginning of March. It was actually icebreaker posting which first caught my attention.
Then there was a quick succession of troll posts and then the avalanche started. I guessed by the frequency and timing of the troll posts that some sockpuppets were being used.
For what its worth, I think that these posts arrived in order to create a shitstorm between DASH and Monero, now known as Trollero.
Who has the scrapping script that goes through and lists the post count? I bet if we go back to February and do a month by month count, you will see the pick-up in trolling.
Do the same for the Trollero thread and you will probably find their 'dev' posts here more than in the Trollero thread - not that that suggests anything other than he posts more here.
Trollero suffered a similar war of words battle when a sockpuppet account wound up BCN, from what I can tell of what was going on. That led to Trollero investors suffering a decline in price.
That is why I think this is another attempt to create a war of words but it is aimed at Trollero, by winding up DASH.
Admittedly, there is also in the mix those unhappy that their crytonote dashcoin dev sold up.

(I did the same for a small bitcoin wallet that was not encrypted thats why I asked, never could work out for sure what caused it so deleted loads of sgminer exes and ended up formating in the end anyway just to make sure)
Not quite sure what has happened here. What exe file caused this? Can someone upload this so I can send this off to one of my associates to see what this file is?

The file came from an nzb file.
I wasn't looking carefully and it looked like a folder, and I clicked on it. It was removed pretty quickly, but I think the damage was done. I started getting coinbase/ bitfinex reset emails, but I have 2FA on those...so it must have gotten to my gmail data..which I didn't have 2FA on. Now i do...
Any help you guys are willing to offer, that would be awesome. My life savings were in those 2 MNs, and this hurts more than you can think. This may kill the whole crypto thing for me, that's how much it hurts. I don't really know what to do with myself anymore.
What's odd is that I had 2 wallet.dat files with the same pw, and in 2 different data dirs. The one that was stolen was the non standard dir (I put it in c:\drk2\) but the regular one (in app data) wasn't stolen..maybe I got it out quick enough (5 minutes after the first).
Sorry bro, you were never really in crypto to begin with. You merely participated in a farce on crypto, called DASH.
DASH is a filter which is very effective in separating fools from their money.
Typical foolish DashHoles:
1) invests far more than he can afford to lose in a gold donkey HYIP, then cries when the donkey dies
2) doesn't understand jack shit about crypto, which explains why he thinks Dash is a good coin and reuses passwords
3) doesn't understand jack shit about compsec, which explains why he would run an exe from an nzb (were those 0day warez worth killing your gold donkey?) and store passwords in gmail with no 2FA
4) immediately jumps to the paranoid conclusion it was a "targeted hacking" as if Dash are so fucking precious haX0rz will do anything to get them
If Cryptsy (the premiere scam exchange for leading scam coins like Paycoin and Dash) can identify/freeze the supposedly stolen coins, DASH isn't fungible.

Wtf going on with coinmarketcap remove them ** have they been troll paid . Evan put them straight can't handle seeing them ** next to my loved dash. Delusional is admitting there was a Monero scam launch and then saying it doesn't matter, because Monero. We only care about scams in other projects.
Lets not restrict to the period before the deliberate de-optimization. If you maintain you want to go back to Darkcoin's first launch days, then you have to own the Monero scam launch.

That question is incomplete and meaningless. I don't find spewing out 2.5% of the coins in a day (after a series of deceptive and misleading statements about the launch time, etc.) due to a combination of a lousy difficulty adjustment (that was specifically not copied from LTC) and a bug that is uncorrected, followed by arbitrarily cutting the supply to 1/4, thereby increasing the original 2.5% to 9% to be acceptable no. Also, BTW, when you redirected 60% of the future coins to masternode owners that is financially close to doubling the original stash again. So let's call it 18% now (so far -- who knows what other manipulations may happen in the future to increase it again -- after all why would you stop doing what you've been doing?). That's beyond the pale, and something that any non-insiders should stay the hell away from.
Also, let's stick to discussing Dash on the Dash thread. Not LTC, not XMR, nor not some hypothetical "any project"
