Amen to that.

He's taken tough decisions on his own in the past in the face of mass screaming and shouting. The last one that was almost a carbon copy of this was when RC3 got launched and forked. He reverted it when everyone was telling him not to and if he hadn't done that we'd have been screwed.

I can't help thinking he's made the right call here as well - despite all the toy throwing.

When you actually sit down and put the logic together there is no other way to go. So what they're dumping. There's at least as many who never bought in because they though this coin had a glass ceiling due to a toxic name and wider market impenetrability. Even Bitcoin has a nightmare of a time over getting the "criminals charter" label slapped on it. Darkcoin's just a non starter for many.

Vertoe is just selling on principle and he was a large holder, the market will recover soon, this is good for distribution as we go from one large holder to many. Plus, since he is selling on principle and not because of any other reason he would have sold on a name change today, tomorrow or in a year. So it is really take the pain now or take it later. I do have great respect for him and wish him the best, everyone is entitled to their opinions and the ultimate vote happens in the market.
